v0.38 - Faster progression!

v0.38 is released!
[p][/p][p]I hope everyone is having a good Friday![/p][p][/p][h2]Faster Progression[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This update introduces several improvements to the early game progression, such as having Lv 0 INT and VIT enhancements unlock at Level 50 instead of 100, making the first upgrade cost about 10% of its current cost. Existing players will also unlock a new level of enhancements for these two stats.[/p][p][/p][h3]File Name flexibility[/h3][p]Save file names now allow you to use underscores and dashes.

v0.37 - New gold numbers + Mini Roadmap

v0.37 is released!
[p][/p][p]Siegeturtle is a game that looks simple but has many hidden mechanics that make it increasingly complex as you progress.[/p][p]A couple of improvements have been made after I watched LadyShelab play my game, which has been awesomely inspiring.[/p][p]The full changelog is at the end but I hope this makes it easier for new people to understand the game.[/p][p][/p][p]I did make a change: Since I did new damage numbers in v0.33, I wanted to improve the gold texts too, so I have done it this update! This makes gold numbers shine like gold :)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Roadmap

Existing players will also unlock a new level of enhancements for these two stats.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.39 will add a new ability: 'Continuous Clicks'[/h3][p]This allows you to hold to click enemies, without having to stress your fingers, and upgrading the skill makes it click faster.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.40 will add a new skill: Shell Care[/h3][p]HP regen has been a bottleneck in early game and if you don't unlock the overpowered 'Dolphin Blessing' skill, you tend to struggle much more. So I will introduce a skill that will increase HP regen passively. Since this is a passive, the effect is weaker than the dolphin blessing buff.[/p][p][/p][h3]v0.41* (?) - New enhancement skills[/h3][p]Enhancing attributes is expensive, so 2 new skills will be added - one to decrease gold cost, and one to decrease attribute requirement to unlock enhancement levels. This gives you more flexibility and strategy on how you want to pick your skills, depending on what your current bottleneck is! v0.35 - Save slots!

[p]v0.35 is released![/p][p][/p][h2]Save slots![/h2][p]To make it easier to switch between savefiles, and save progression points (e.g. between ascensions), a brand new save system has been added for the desktop version![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You can now save and load multiple savefiles, and start a new game much easier than before.[/p][p][/p][h2]Menu Convenience[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The menu now has \[Play] and \[Continue] buttons.[/p][p]Continue lets you continue your last game easily. While play lets you view and load specific savefiles.[/p][p][/p][h2]New import/export feature[/h2][p][/p][p]A new import export system that does not replace your current savefile has been added. You can backup savestrings directly for easier exporting and importing.[/p][p]The old 'replace' function shown below will be removed in a future update as the new method is superior and simply adds a new file slot, without replacing the existing save.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

v0.34.2 - Cannon autocast

[p]v0.34.2 is released![/p][p][/p][h2]Cannon autocast![/h2][p][/p][p]I've added autocast to the cannon ability, to make it easier to control its MP usage. You can now toggle autocast on it like with regular skills.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The UI currently does not show the autocast indicator on passives, which will be added in the next update, but rest assured the feature is working and cannon is disabled when autocast is off.[/p][p][/p][h2]New use for dark matter[/h2][p]It was easy to overflow on Dark Matter after a few upgrades, so Dark Matter has been given a new use and is now used to upgrade your sentinel summoning level when unlocking a new tier.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Community Translations![/h2][p]The game is now open to community translations. Faster Saving
[p]I spent two entire days debugging save timings and am happy to say that saving should now be near instant on a fresh savefile! This affects both autosave and quicksave.[/p][p][/p][p]I am making preparations for save file slots which should arrive in v0.35.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]New equipment stat lines[/h2][p]I also wanted to share how higher rarity equipment work on the full version, so here's a preview of the higher tier equipments![/p][p][/p][p]Mystic and Ancient Rings / Pendants have a chance to give four lines instead of three.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]I think this is pretty cool and although rare to get all four lines, it will be rewarding for those who get it. In future, there will be an EXP system so EXP% will be a new stat line that can be possible to get on the highest equipment tiers.[/p][p][/p][h2]Balancing[/h2][p]Fixes were also made and essence related skills were changed as it was too easy to reach 100% sentinel summon uptime with the ascension skill multiplicatively stacking off Essence Bloom companion skill.[/p][p][/p][p]Shadow Seeker darkness upgrade is also rebalanced.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Fixes[/h2][p][/p][p]I've also made a lot of fixes thanks to feedback and reports. For example, the skill names in cooldown UI sometimes did not appear. This has been fixed.[/p][p][/p]
