Puna — Spring's Helper

Amidst the roots of ancient trees, in underground storerooms, lives a tiny but incredibly courageous creature—Puna. From the outside, she might be mistaken for an ordinary field mouse, but she is responsible for ensuring that spring finally defeats winter.
Puna is armed with half a pair of magical scissors and a needle. Legend has it that Spring herself once used these scissors to cut off Winter's icy braids to free the land. The blade broke in a fierce battle, and Puna found one half. With the needle, Spring sewed Winter to the northern borders, preventing her from returning prematurely.
With the half of the scissors, Puna trims the cobwebs entangling the sprout, cuts the shackles of last year's grass, and cuts away all the dead matter that hinders new life. And with her magic needle, she sews the first rays of warmth to the earth, cementing its awakening.
Puna is a humble but tireless worker of regeneration. Without her, the forest would never be so well-tended and ready for the coming summer.
