Update for FIREFIGHT RELOADED Released (09-18-2024)
An update for FIREFIGHT RELOADED has been released. The update will be applied when you restart FIREFIGHT RELOADED.
Note: I wanted to fix some other issues but I'm pushing this out early to fix issues people have already reported. The issues are listed in the "known issues" portion of this changelog for transparancy.
- Fixed MP5 reload sounds having "cracks" in the sound.
- Fixed loadouts not working properly outside of special maps.
- Fixed the game not loading the correct level, EXP total, max health including upgrades, and Kash from a save game.
- Fixed the "The Uprising" achievement not working properly.
- Improved the Sniper Rifle zoom.
- The zoom function has been restored to what was previously in older versions of FIREFIGHT. However, the zoom magnification can be quickly changed by pressing the special attack button. This allows for easier fine-tuning of the zoom magnification and makes it easier for the player to quickly zoom out.
- Song playtime through the music system is now dynamically adjusted by host_timescale, allowing it to keep accurate timing.
- Nerfed kick from 50 damage to 30.
- Lowered NPC spawn times.
Known issues:
- Misc. issues related to Advisor Drones. If you cannot get to the boss battle, disable "On max level, teleport to the boss battle after killing an Advisor Drone." and enable "On max level, teleport to the boss battle on death."
- Crashing issues (it is incredibly hard for me to re-create crashes in FR for whatever reason. when reporting crashes, please describe what happened when the game crashed)
- Stuck on ironsight/can't get out of ironsight bug (please let me know which ironsight mode you are using (hold or toggle) in your report)
