Manipulate the bug council, use it to your benefit & claim your allegiance!

In the vast realm of Backyardia, the Bug Council convenes to discuss important things like picnics, how to ruin picnics and, of course, income tax reform. The different factions of bugs- ants, flies, bees, mosquitos and cockroaches- find themselves in an ever-shifting balance of power and only those who ally themselves with the most powerful will seize the day.

Bug Council of Backyardia is a trick taking game that utilizes a mancala mechanism to dynamically shift which suits are powerful throughout the game.

The game is played over 3 rounds. Each round, players will receive 11 cards to play 10 tricks. During the tricks, the leader will play a suit and the rest of the players will follow (if possible). The player to play the strongest card of the strongest suit wins the trick and collects it for scoring! Meanwhile, the player to play the lowest on-suit card gets to visit the Council. This player chooses a faction tile, collects its strength cubes and distributes them in a clockwise fashion around the council, thus, altering the strength of the suits.

At the end of the 10 tricks, players will use their remaining card to claim their allegiance to the faction matching its suit. If you play your cards right and manipulate the council to your favor, you can get a nice allegiance bonus to add to the tricks you've won!

The player with the most points at the end of 3 rounds is the winner of the game and will be forever remembered in the annals of Backyardia history!

The ultimate diplomatic game for kings, queens and emperors.

When you play Coalitions, you decide the destiny of Europe; your decisions will make history. Will you guide France to greatness? Will you galvanize and unite Europe to bring an end to the infant republic and restore the Ancient Régime? Or maybe there is a Metternich in you, able to deceive others and bluff your way to victory with a cunning smile?

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Coalitions brings the whole continent of the Napoleonic Wars into a fast, playable system. Multiplayers—with NO downtime. Each turn, EVERY player is doing something… but doing something ‘different.’ This sets up an unexpected cycle like nothing you’ve ever played before.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Each player controls one of six asymmetric factions: France, England, Austria, Prussia, Russia or Turkey. They then try to form an alliance, insisting that it will be beneficial to all, although only one player can actually win. Throughout the game, players try to capture and consolidate key positions, which will earn victory points during the relevant phase.

The game begins with 4 area cards laid out. Players take one card from their hand and lay it face down under their card. This is their secret suit and will affect scoring at the end of the round. Players alternate laying cards under each area down in order to meet the conditions of the Area Card. Once all cards have been laid, the secret suit cards are revealed and the points totalled.

The player with the most points after 3 rounds, wins.

Spotlight includes a solo mode where you play against the AI "Light", attempting to win Areas as Light plays down twice as many cards. How well will you be able to beat the automated system?

Time agents try to change the history of the world!

After an Environmental Crisis, humankind left the Earth to its doom. Now, they have developed the means to time travel and save the earth by completing 12 time-changing missions.

Takyon is a time travel game in which players will have to adjust time to try and gather religious, cultural, scientific, warfare, environmental and future technologies, so they can bring them to other places in time and space. The game missions can be of the kind of giving nuclear bombs to French Revolutionaries or teach the Roman Empire the ways of Pastafarianism!

In this strategic worker placement game, each change to the time continuum will create a paradox that can block a continent for further time travel, until it is cleaned (or it has so many paradoxes it is blocked permanently). With their time machine pieces, the players will be able to perform actions like move time, move the agents between continents, sell technologies to the Time Museum, clean Paradoxes, acquire new missions o gather future technologies. Moving time will affect all players simultaneously, as their time machines are time-locked.

The game can end in either of these conditions: all players have completed 12 missions overall, which will trigger final scoring to declare a winner, or if three continents get permanently blocked due to an excess in paradoxes, in which case all players will lose and the Earth will be erased from hist...
