Class Deep Dive: The Barbarian 🪓

This class is built around brutal close combat and scaling damage based on how close you are to death. Let us look at the Attack Power (AP) scaling and evolution milestones.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]⚔️ Weapon: Fire Axe Auto Attack[/h2][p]The Fire Axe is a wide sweeping attack that applies a 5s bleed effect right from the start.[/p]

- [p]Cooldown: 1.2s drops to 0.8s (at max evolution).[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: The attack arc widens massively as you upgrade it. It goes from a 110 degree angle to a sweeping 220 degree angle. Evolution 4 adds bonus damage based on the current HP percentage of your target.[/p]
- [p]Base AP Scaling: 1.6[/p]
- [p]Cooldown: 10s drops to 6s (at max evolution).[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: You start by throwing a single axe. As you upgrade the ability, it transforms entirely. You eventually fan out 5 axes in front of you with a much larger radius.[/p]
- [p]Base AP Scaling: 1.85[/p]
- [p]Max HP% Damage: Scales from 3% up to 6% Max HP damage.[/p]
- [p]Cooldown: 18s drops to 12s (at max evolution).[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: Upgrading adds a 2s stun and increases the cone to a full 360 degree AoE. Evolution 4 leaves a lingering flame field on the ground that lasts up to 8s.[/p]

- [p]Max HP% Damage: 0.05% Max HP damage per tick.[/p]
- [p]Cooldown: 23s drops to 18s (at max evolution).[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: You start with 2 spinning axes lasting 8 seconds. Upgrading unleashes up to 8 axes that spin around you for 16 seconds.[/p]
- [p]Base AP Scaling: 2.0 (End explosion) and 0.06 (Rush path).[/p]
- [p]Cooldown: 16s drops to 8s (at max evolution).[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: The ability grants a 5s damage buff based on how many enemies you hit during the dash. This buff scales from 5% per target up to 20% per target at max level.[/p]
- [p]Core Mechanic: We use an exponential asymptote curve for this calculation. This means the bonus starts slow but spikes incredibly hard at very low health. At 1% HP you gain roughly a 50% critical rate addition.[/p]
- [p]Evolution Highlights: Upgrading the card rarity increases the maximum threshold of this bonus from 20% up to 40%. It also passively grants up to 6% flat Crit Chance.[/p]
