2022 Roadmap and our plans for future!
Dear Mechanics,
A month has passed since the release of the DLC, which was the last point of our previous roadmap. Now is the right time to sum up what we have achieved, what we have failed, and draw conclusions.
Previous Roadmap
In our previous roadmap, we promised to add 6 new free vehicles and one DLC. As you probably know, most of them were implemented late to the previously announced dates, for which we are very sorry. Our models have become much more detailed and thus needed more work from us. Additionally, bug fixes (and the appearance of new ones), the creation of mini-events like Halloween and Christmas, and random events like DMCA on Maus interior, have systematically delayed our work and caused our duties to pile up. Eventually, we managed to keep our word and release all the promised content. Thank you for your understanding and support!
First Supply DLC
We would like to thank you for such a warm welcome At this moment we have 83 reviews out there with 95% of them being positive. The release was not without small problems, but thanks to your reports we were able to release a hotfix in no time. We are still receiving reports about some bugs, and we are constantly trying to fix them. You can expect an update later this month.
Roadmap 2022
We've had many conversations within our team, thoroughly checked your suggestions, and based on them we've made decisions about our plans for 2022. This is how the roadmap below was created:

Stage 1 - Tank Creator & Improved Camera Controls & Ressuply menu rework
Stage 2 - Tutorial & Economy Rework
Stage 3 - Decorators & Cosmetics
Stage 4 - Museum Enhanced & Content additions
Stage 5 - Shermans DLC #2
As you can see for yourself, there is still a lot of work ahead of us. Be sure to let us know what you think of our plans, and which of the stages you are most looking forward to!
Thanks for all the support and have a good weekend!
Roadmap 2022
We've had many conversations within our team, thoroughly checked your suggestions, and based on them we've made decisions about our plans for 2022. This is how the roadmap below was created:

Stage 1 - Tank Creator & Improved Camera Controls & Ressuply menu rework
- Tank Creator - a set of tools and manuals packed into a .unitypackage file that can be used by modders to create any tank they want - provided they have the .fbx file with the tank model.
- Improved camera controls - an overhaul of the current system of control when a player has an element selected. Our newest tank's details are so dense that the current way how the camera works requires a change. It does not allow to quickly access interesting tank parts, or correctly move around the tank if the part is too big.
- Resupply menu rework - currently the way the game allows the player to load up tank ammo and manage tank armament like MG placement is not perfect. By overhauling the menu for it to be more accessible and allowing for easier replacement of MGs, just like any other part of the tank we can make life easier.
Stage 2 - Tutorial & Economy Rework
- Tutorial remake - instead of our current tutorial we will go for a separate game mode, not integrated into the main gameplay mode. It will take the player by the hand and explain all the mechanics that are in the game (the old tutorial is really buggy and does not explain all the stuff the game requires to do)
- Economy rebalance - redesign of how the economy works, so this won’t be a game about being a millionaire tank museum owner in 15 minutes (but also not a game to grind each and every penny).
- Sandbox mode - long suggested mode that will have unlimited money and reputation to do anything - but not allow to unlock achievements
- Day & Night settings - to allow the player to set up his own experience of how the extraction missions and proving ground day and night cycle behaves.
Stage 3 - Decorators & Cosmetics
- Decorator system - that will allow putting on the tank in paint room objects like:
- helmets
- canisters
- bushes
- sandbags
- helmets
- New paint sets, camouflages, decals - as well as the system that will apply a paint set to tanks from extractions and contracts
Stage 4 - Museum Enhanced & Content additions
- Extended Museum - more unlockable rooms, and allowance to set up and organize the room in any way the player wants to - house flipper like
- Prop shop - to allow buying museum stands and objects that can be placed as a museum exposition, as well as buying machine guns, etc. that right now are only available if player grabs them on extractions
Stage 5 - Shermans DLC #2
- Self-explanatory - we will refresh old tanks M4A3E8 Sherman and M10 Wolverine models as we metioned earlier about updating old tanks in game and release them as part of an regular game update once ready. Except that we are going to add 5 new tanks from the Sherman family.
As you can see for yourself, there is still a lot of work ahead of us. Be sure to let us know what you think of our plans, and which of the stages you are most looking forward to!
Thanks for all the support and have a good weekend!
