Discovering stories hidden behind wrecks of World War 2 tanks became a bread and butter for many of you. Thanks to Tank Mechanic Simulator you returned many of those steel beasts to former glory and in your tank garage you feel at home. In case you ever wondered, while dismantling rusty tracks from a T-34, how fun would it be in VR - we have good news for you.

Our friends from GameFormatic, creators of Car Mechanic Simulator VR, are far from being done with immersion and virtual reality. For the last few months they've been working hard on VR version of Tank Mechanic Simulator. As a result of their efforts we now have a pleasure to invite you all to participate in closed beta tests of our game. To join the beta test program please click the link below and fill in the form. Remember that you will need a virtual reality headset to fully enjoy the VR version of the game.

As soon as we gather a proper amount of participants we will send a product key to each one of you, which you will need to activate in your Steam library. Please remember that all of your opinions and suggestions are truly relevant to us which is why we also invite you to join GameFormatic discord server, where all details about VR version of the game can be found. [h2]Dear Mechanics,[/h2]

Welcome to our one hundred and eight development status update.

BT-7



This week we focused on BT-7 - outside and inside out. After collecting more references, including our community, we enriched this little, fast tank with a new air filter, radiostation, and ammunition boxes.



Unnecessary elements were removed, after confirming their absence, and existing ones, like gearbox and final drives were given new interior and more detail.



Certain errors and mistakes were corrected immediately upon finding them, including some texture changes.



We are also working on functionality features for tanks with unique abilities, and as you may know, BT-7 possesses such - driving without tracks, which you can expect, once the tank is released with the DLC.



We are adding special user keys that will control specific functionalities, like dropping tracks during test drive for BT 7. We will showcase it soon.

Consoles update
We have new news regarding the console version of Tank Mechanic Simulator. It will be updated to the state of the PC version already by the end of this year. Players will get long-awaited Community Free Vehicles, access to the Tank Warehouse, and much more!
