Update 23.2

Hello Raiders

The spooky season has passed us by, and it's time to take down the decorations.
Thank you for everyone who have participated in the halloween event, hope you enjoyed it and survived with only a handful of cavities.

For those who have missed out on the candy craze, fear not, the Tricky Treats card will be available as a regular card drop, allowing you to still experience the event.

[h2]The Lead Bar[/h2]
Liberated from a Nazi general who insisted the bars were just simple lead bars, used for sinking important documents within a briefcase in case of capture. Upon closer inspection this was not true.
We didn't want people who missed the event to be left empty handed, so the Lead Bar equipment will be available for everyone, with the Gold Bar turning into a selectable skin for it.

Additionally, these projectiles are now "client authoritative", meaning you control them and will be a lot more consistent when playing online.

  • Updated localization files.
  • Fixed crash when another player goes into bleedout while joining the game.
  • Fixed steam stats for Operation stages being set incorrectly.
  • Fixed a texture issue on backdrop trees.
  • Fixed malus effect text getting cut off on the Candy High panel.

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Added input buffering to single-firing weapons, to improve firing consistency.

  • Fixed the Gold Bar skin sometimes not getting unlocked correctly.
  • Fixed crash when a client's grenade kills an enemy after they disconnect.

    • Added the Lead Bar throwable. ( Unlocks levels: Recon: 15, Assault: 10, Insurgent: 15, Demolition: 12 )
    • Added client authorization for the projectiles to make them more consistent to use.
    • Changed the Gold Bar into a skin.

[h3]Levels[/h3]
  • Fixed running up stairs as Kurgan playing wrong voicelines on some levels.

  • Countdown
    • Increased cart moving range from 3m to 7m.

    • Fixed softlocks with the Slasher Movie challenge card
  • Hunters
    • Fixed dogtags being buried under rocks.
  • Tiger Trap
    • Fixed several stuck spots and navigation issues.

[h3]Enemies[/h3]
  • Fixed officers using the wrong supply drop pool.
  • Fixed enemy grenade drop chances being affected by the coin and the lead bar.
  • Fixed missing pumpkin heads for some commander backup enemies.

[h3]Proficiencies[/h3]
  • Untouchable warcry
    • Reduced base duration from 10s to 8s.
  • Opportunist talent
    • Fixed effects activating when picking thrown equipment back up.
  • Perseverance talent
    • Fixed soft lock whith the "Warcries are disabled" effect enabled.
  • Clipazines talent
    • Fixed a bug on the Lee-Enfield and K98k that was causing some reloads to end prematurely.

Hope you have been enjoying the event, and have filled your bags up with a bunch of candies.
We have a small update fixing a couple of issues with the last update, along with hopefully a fix for the long-standing freeze issues. Please let us know if you keep experiencing it.

[h2]Changelog[/h2]
Update size: 67.0 MB

  • Added timer to buff effect UI to better indicate their lengths
  • Increased the amount of ammo earned from candy pickups.
  • Updated localization files.

  • Attempted to fix the game randomly freezing when trying to load sounds.
  • Fixed a crash when quickly changing seats in a vehicle as a client.
  • Fixed Raiders always looking to the right while in a vehicle.
  • Fixed not being able to activate the event on a controller.
  • Fixed green crates sometimes not spawning any supplies.
  • Fixed strange behavior when activating Ignition while in turrets or carrying corpses.


Hunters
  • Fixed some stuck spots near the riverside cliffs.


Mag Roulette challenge card
  • Made it impossible to reload and empty magazine.


Pack Mule talent
  • T2 Fixed missing description.

RAID: World War II - The Tricky Treats Update

Tricky treat, Punch my teeth, Break up monsters bones to eat!

The spooky time of year is here and we've cooked up some treats for you to sink your teeth into.

[h2]The Tricky Treats event[/h2]

Fight against the pumpkin masked menace and use their own candy against them, Foes will drop all sorts of curious candies for you to consume. Try them out and see if you can survive the aftertaste.

Consuming enough candies will trigger a Candy High, granting you increasing xp multipliers, but also activating permanent negative effects for the remainder of the raid.

Scoff down enough candy during the event and earn yourself a new throwable equipment; The Gold Bar!

The event runs from October 24 to November 10.
Note: Off season this event will become a challenge card that will drop on occasion, so the mode is not gone forever.

[h2]Warcry Overhaul[/h2]
Have you ever tried to activate Ignition while playing Demolitions, only to realize those coins ya got equipped aren't very usable with it?

Fear no more, for a new shipment of Cluster grenades have arrived, which will be temporarily equipped while Ignition is active, allowing you to fully utilize every Equipment.

Edit: To save everyone from some needless grind we've decreased both 'Boost Friends Forever!' and 'Over And Over!' to only require 60 of each.

The following RAIDS now have Bring them home achievements for collecting all dogtags: Hunters, Tigers Trap, Bunker Busters, Last Orders, Extraction.

[h2]Cards[/h2]
A new series of challenge and booster cards have entered circulation, allowing you to spice up your raids even more.

Thanks to LGL artist Mihaela Jaklin, these new cards even got some fantastic art made for them!
Note: While the event is running, every day you'll be given one of the new cards as a login bonus.

[h3]Dooms Day[/h3]

Can you survive against a fight like the ol' days? No fancy aim-down-sights or sprinting!

[h3]Mag Roulette[/h3]

Reload weapons faster, but reload them with random amount of bullets.

[h3]Raise The Bar[/h3]

Come prepared to a mission with a crowbar for all the crates on the map will be metal footlockers with the good stuff.

[h3]Lucky Day[/h3]

Enjoy the lucky clovers rewarding you with critical hits and better goodies from kills.
Note: Although not brand new, this booster card is included in the Halloween event drops pool.

We'll be live again playing the update together on the 1st of November. Keep an eye out for the announcement next week.

  • Re-enabled the Halloween decorations in the camp.
  • Added a shining effect to coin pickups.
  • Reworked gear spawning system to apply contours to pumpkin hats and radio bags.
  • Flipped the order of boost/effect in boost proficiency descriptions to make it clearer which is the activated effect..
  • Updated localization files.

  • Fixed event stats not getting networked over when a host continues an operation.
  • Fixed enemies having higher then intended weapon stats like reload speeds and firing delays.(Enemies should be shooting less overall)
  • Fixed grenades not being thrown at the correct speeds for clients.
  • Fixed picking up bags at the same time as someone else sometimes clearing all your carry inventory.
  • Fixed the 'Last played with' section of operations displaying the local player twice.
  • Fixed pickup shelves spawning items with incorrect weights.
  • Fixed a crash related to armor values,


Tiger Trap
  • Added difficulty scaling guard spawns.
  • Added some collision in the warehouse wooden stage.
Countdown
  • Attempted to fix dogtags failing to spawn, please report any broken dogtag counters.

The Achievers Contest

[h2] Hello Raiders[/h2]
Even if history won't remember your deeds, you should still get rewarded for your achievements, but currently not every mission grants you this recognition. So it's time for you to change that.

There are a few missions in the game that are currently missing achievements for Very Hard completion, which we are in the process of remedying, and decided to let you come up with some good names for them. Share your name ideas with us in the comments, and we'll pick the ones we liked the most.

The raids that are missing the very hard difficulty achievement:

  • Last Orders
  • Extraction
  • Rogue's Gallery
  • Forest Convoy

The Rules:
- Send them before October 6th.
- Keep it appropriate to the game and the raid.
- Keep the character limit reasonable.
- You are allowed to post multiple suggestions.

Of course if you have ideas for new achievements, feel free to share those too, we might implement some!
