Demo Update (0.1.2) - Performance Increase
[p]Hi everyone — quick demo update focused on performance and clarity, based directly on your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Several players reported slowdowns or freezing near the end of longer runs, especially once the screen filled with lots of logs and effects. This update is aimed squarely at fixing that.[/p][p][/p][p]What’s improved[/p][p]• Significantly smoother performance in late-game / high-chaos runs[/p][p]• Reduced lag when large numbers of logs are on screen[/p][p]• More stable frame rate during intense moments[/p][p]• Small UI polish and feedback improvements[/p][p][/p][p]Behind the scenes (light technical note)[/p][p]Previously, many individual logs were updating themselves every frame. This update restructures how logs and their shadows are processed so more of that work is handled together, reducing the amount of per-object overhead.[/p][p][/p][p]Also in this update[/p][p]• Updated the skill tree nodes to have a red tint when you cannot afford them, so that you can easily determine which to buy at a glance.[/p][p][/p][p]If you were one of the players who ran into performance issues earlier — thank you for calling it out.
