  • Removed all dangerous rich text from description in song panel.
  • Fixed some situations where the editor would infinitely load while creating a level.

  • New [Recent] arcade sorting option. This allows you to sort by most recently played levels. This replaces old [BPM] option.

  • Added page swap noise to arcade menus.
  • Several minor UI/UX improvements for arcade menus.
  • Using the left and right buttons on the page selector at the bottom now no longer snap your selection up on page swap.

  • [Recent] sorting is now on by default.
  • Player should no longer get stuck after dying in some cases.
  • Rank sorting in arcade should now work correctly.

  • Leaderboards are fully back and better then ever, with more info then before and a faster, better UI.
  • Added more game settings, like being able to turn off the sound distortion effect on player hit.
  • Added the ability to credit a game in your level.
  • Added a notification in arcade when a level is made with a really old version of the game.

  • Overhauled the UI/UX for creating songs.
  • Better error handling when making levels.
  • There's now a loading state when you create levels.
  • Game gracefully handles data file fail to parse in editor/game.
  • A warning is presented and the editor blocks prefabs with prefabs.
  • Massively overhauled arcade UI and UX.
  • Fixed all remaining Main Menu settings that didn't work.
  • Minor general UI/UX improvements.
  • Added additional characters to ASCII text generator.

  • Fixed player being paused on death.
  • Add check for opacity on gradient shapes.

  • Added basic save system for Story Mode. Expect more features to be added in the future, including traditional save slots.
    • If you have trouble loading into story or getting to story levels, try deleting your "saves.vgs" file in your game's folder or your entire "settings" folder.
  • Added WIP splash page after you complete Story Mode.
  • Swapped file saving to async for all save data.

  • Fixed issue with delayed story assets.
  • Fixed loading screen getting stuck on errors.
  • Fixed end screen staying around on restart if "/" was used in the description.
  • Minor tweaks and fixes.

  • SaveManager (24.7.-) is now known as SettingsManager.
  • CurrentArcadeLevel moved to ArcadeManager.
Hotfix: Fixed issue with visible debug mode.
