  • Compensated the missing resources for the M1A2, M1A1, Leclerc Prototype and Leclerc module progression reset
  • Fixed a large number of incorrect shell characteristics
  • Fixed the armor for T-72B, XM1 and Merkava Mk.2B by making their lower plate more vulnerable so that some Tier 4 vehicles could penetrate it as well
  • Some vehicles still had HEAT and HEAT-MP shell damage bonuses even after their removal in Update 0.33, this has been fixed
  • Fixed an issue where some rounds (such as the ADATS rockets) didn’t have their penetration listed in their description
  • Fixed an issue where BMPTs were firing with both cannons at the same time
  • Fixed an issue where wheels would clip into the hull when using active suspension on some vehicles
  • Further improved the game’s performance by pre-loading some additional resources before the start of a battle
  • Overhauled the appearance of ping, recording and FPS indicators for the new Battle UI
  • Abrams AGDS: Fixed a number of issues with this vehicle’s armor
  • BVP M-80A: This vehicle is no longer marked as Battle-Hardened
  • BM Oplot: Fixed a number of issues with this vehicle’s armor
  • M1 Abrams: Overhauled this vehicle’s armor to 0.33 standards
  • M1A1 Abrams, M60-2000: Fixed the clipped turret decals
  • M108 no longer has a Soviet machinegun
  • M60-2000: Fixed a number of issues with this vehicle’s armor
  • Object 640: Penetration RNG reduced by 5% for the HEAT shells and by 10% for ATGMs
  • ST1: This vehicle has been properly rebalanced under Update 0.33 standards and its armor was fixed
  • T-72B: Destroyed ERA modules no longer appear undamaged
  • XM1 Fox: Its armor is now identical to the standard XM1
  • Several vehicles (Armata, Object 640, CATTB and PLZ-05) now have machineguns of the correct caliber
  • Fixed the appearance of the M1A2 Warhammer skin
  • Fixed an issue where character portraits in Special Operations covered the team list
  • Fixed an issue where some AI opponents (Swingfire etc.) would not fire at players
  • Fixed an issue where players could incorrectly see the Benchmark window

Historical Camouflages - German KMW

In addition to the Bundeswehr skin, we’ve prepared another item for you to be released during the upcoming German Unity Day celebrations in the early October – the real-life KMW export camouflage.



This camouflage consists of sand, ochre and brown stripes and has for the first time appeared roughly in 2010 at the Eurosatory expo on a Leopard 2A7+ prototype. This wasn’t a real Leopard 2A7, more a technology demonstrator intended to show some of its most advanced components to potential foreign buyers, most notably from the Middle East – that’s why the tank was painted into what was effectively a desert camouflage.



All things considered, it went relatively well. Two Middle Eastern governments got interested in the program – Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The Qatar deal was ultimately successful and several dozen upgraded Leopard 2A7 tanks were ordered by April 2013 along with some other German equipment, including the Panzerhaubitze 2000 SPGs.



Sources vary as to how many – the usually listed numbers are either 62 or 118. According to the trade registers, 62 MBTs were delivered between 2015 and 2018. They first appeared in public during the annual 2015 military parade in Doha on December 18, 2015.

The other deal didn’t end up going so well. Following the above mentioned expo, Saudi Arabia wanted to purchase several hundred Leopard 2A7 tanks and the deal was initially approved by the Germans in 2011. However, what followed was a significant public and political backlash. Germany is a free country with tremendous respect for human rights, which cannot exactly be said of the Saudi regime. After considerable pressure (including from its shareholders), KMW was forced to withdraw from the negotiations. A few years later, the Saudis purchased several hundred American M1A2S Abrams tanks.



This camouflage will best suit your Panzerhaubitze 2000 SPG or your Leopard 2A6 MBT to make them look the part. But it will be usable on all vehicles and for all environments and the best part is that it will be available for free!



Alongside it, we are planning to introduce a special German base paint “Panzergrau”, which can be seen on various Leopard prototype photos. It’ll definitely give your prototypes that cutting edge look you’ve been asking for.

Historical Skins – Leopard 2A5 Bundeswehr

Since the previous historical skins based on real life vehicles, Warhammer and Glorieux, turned out to be so popular amongst you, we’ve prepared a special German skin based on the Leopard 2A5 Tier 8 MBT for the upcoming Unity Day celebration. We call it simply “Bundeswehr”.



As its name suggests, this skin is based on a real life Leopard Main Battle Tank serving in the German army, specifically with Panzerbataillon 104 (104th Armored Battalion) of Panzerbrigade 12 (12th Armored Brigade), which in turn belongs to 10. Panzerdivision (10th Armored Division).

Panzerbataillon 104 has its home base in Oberpfalz-Kaserne in Pfreimd and is tasked with defending the federal state of Bavaria (south-eastern Germany). Bavaria, of course, once belonged to West Germany. In 1981, Panzerbataillon 104 was renamed from the older Panzerjägerbataillon 104, a Tank Destroyer unit armed with Kanonenjagdpanzer TDs, which was founded in Pfreimd a decade earlier, in 1971.



In 2020, Panzerbataillon is armed with Leopard 2 Main Battle Tanks, which it regularly shows to the public. Our skin is based on the Leopard 2A5 model (even though the unit uses Leopard 2A6s) and is fitted with all the proper insignia it requires, although it does not represent any specific vehicle in particular.



At first glance, the tank looks like a standard Leopard 2A5 fitted with the Bundeswehr camouflage we already have in the game, but we have added a number of details such as the small smoke grenade launcher numbers, the weight indicator in the front or the cross and license plate in the back.



Additionally, the tank is fitted with a partial camouflage net, adding to the feeling of realism.

In Development: Al Dabbah Map

It’s been a while since we added a new PvP map, hasn’t it? With the changes introduced as a part of Update 0.33, we thought we’d give your newly rebalanced vehicles a little bit of room to stretch their legs. Welcome to the Al Dabbah map!



War has once again come to Sudan as multiple mercenary forces attempt to seize control of one of the last remaining large-scale solar power stations in the world – the Al Dabbah plant. This cutting edge facility uses technologies that are no longer available. Producing enough power for the entire region as well as being located on the river Nile, it is not only essential, but also irreplaceable. Many corporations are aware of that and the battles for this plant are expected to be exceptionally fierce.



The Al Dabbah desert map is very large and split into three parts by the river Nile to the south-east and an artificial channel to the north-west, each crossable relatively with ease. There are two banks and the plant itself, located in the middle. Both banks are fairly open with the only cover provided by the rolling dunes of Sahara along with some smaller villages.



The map will be available in two Random Battles types – Standard and Encounter.

In the Standard mode, one team will start in the southwest and another one in the south-east. Each side has a fairly open killing field at its disposal in order to defend your base properly. Each base is flanked by two elevated positions ideal for defending Tank Destroyers to settle in. However, these positions are fairly extended from the base itself, so switching between those on the fly is not really an option.



MBTs will have the options either to flank the power plant, , which could lead to their exposure or, alternatively, to short-range combat in the center of the plant. Either flank will allow them to approach the enemy base with some light cover, but it is not advised because the TDs watching over each base may pick them off if they’re not careful. The exposed flanks are best left to fast vehicles such as LTs and AFVs, which are able to cover long distances using their high maximum speeds.



However, surrendering the central base and focusing on flanking attacks is not really an option because the plant offers an excellent vantage point, controlling much of the flanking routes, the defensive TD positions and, worst of all, allowing the enemy to fire almost into your own base.



In the Encounter mode, there’s only one base that is located right under the central base to the south-east. Furious combat for the base itself and for the power-plant awaits you here as both you and the enemies attempt to take the base as quickly as possible.



Highly mobile warfare is the key to success here – if you manage to flank your opponents, your victory is all but assured.
