• Sabre Tier 6 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle
 • Challenger 1 Falcon Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank
 • Camouflage Loot Crate with Spirithaven Raid skins
Between May 27 and June 3, 2021, the following items will be available:
M60T skin for Sabra
This skin for the Sabra Mk.2 Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank is based on the Sabra MBTs that participated in the Turkish incursion into Syria in October 2019 (Operation Peace Spring). It combines a number of real-life elements, turning your Sabra into a Turkish service MBT. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

The skin is available either as a standalone item or as a part of the M60T bundle, which contains the following items:
 • M60T skin for the Sabra Mk.2 MBT
 • Sabra Mk.2 Tier 7 Premium MBT
 • 500 Gold

That way, you can get this amazing vehicle together with the skin. Alternatively, the Sabra is also available in other bundles without the skin.
Merkava Mk.2D and Israeli Bundle
The Merkava IID (also known as Mk.2D) is an advanced version of the standard Mk.2 Merkava, upgraded with a modular “Dor-Dalet” composite armor kit. It’s a tough and unyielding vehicle, featuring a number of battle-proven components such as its 105mm rifled cannon. The first version of the Merkava Mk.2 entered service in 1983 and the last vehicles were phased out in 2016 after thirty long years.

In Armored Warfare, the Merkava IID is a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is not equipped with an explosive reactive armor kit, but is, nevertheless, a very tough customer due to the introduction of the applique armor, allowing it to take a lot of damage. Additionally, the tank is equipped with a Ready Rack mechanism, significantly increasing the rate of fire for the first four shots.

This vehicle is also available as a part of the Israeli bundle, which contains the following items:
 • Merkava Mk.2D Tier 7 Premium MBT
 • Sinai Grey base paint
 • Israeli Experimental camouflage
 • Israeli Flag decal (free bonus)
 • Israeli Flag banner (free bonus)

The Sinai Grey base paint is based on the color commonly used by the Israeli vehicles. You can now apply it to all your Merkava MBTs for maximum realism. The camouflage, on the other hand, is an experimental one and not used in active service. It was developed in the 1980s for a series of trials, but Israel ultimately decided not to adopt it. Still, it’s a piece of history and will fit your Merkava Mk.2 MBT really well. You can read more about both in our dedicated article.
Syrian Bundle
This gorgeous Syrian camouflage was seen in the aftermath of the 1973 Yom Kippur War on a captured Syrian BMP-1 IFV and consists of sand, green and grey stripes. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

It is available as a part of the Syrian Camouflage bundle, which contains the following items:
 • Syrian camouflage
 • 14 days of Premium Time
 • 2.000 Gold
 • Syrian Flag decal (free bonus)
 • Syrian Flag banner (free bonus)

This camouflage can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available and can be used in all three environments.
Altay
The Altay is the result of a Turkish program to build a true indigenous MBT. After a decade of development with hundreds of millions of dollars spent, Turkey finally achieved its goal and built a tank that is roughly on par in performance with decades-old Leopard 2 variants while it still uses many foreign components, including some of its most critical systems. Nevertheless, future Altay variants are expected to feature some cutting edge components.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

In Armored Warfare, the Altay is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank based on the current prototypes, but also upgraded by various hypothetical aftermarket components of the future to surpass its current capabilities and to match its assigned Tier in power. The basic tank is – gameplay-wise – a mobile sniper, much like the Leopard 2 series, relying on its mobility and the penetration of its shells rather than on its armor. There are two key features to this tank: Adjustable Suspension (tilting forward and to the side) and Hybrid Engine with its distinctive electric sound, giving the vehicle excellent mobility and agility.

The Altay Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
Magach 7A
The Magach 7A is an early M60 series American tank, upgraded by the Israelis to meet the requirements of the 1990s battlefield, especially to combat the threat of anti-tank guided missiles that had started to find their way into the hands of various terrorist groups in the late 1980s. The most distinctive upgrade is its box-shaped extra turret armor. While well-protected, the tank was quite lethargic when it came to its mobility due to the use of its old engine, a shortcoming that was only corrected in the final evolution step of the Magach series, the Magach 7C. You can read more about it in a dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Magach 7A is a Tier 6 Premium Main Battle Tank. With its excellent gun accuracy and aiming time values, the Magach 7A is a good sniper for its class and is perfectly suitable for those players, who want to experience long-range combat but who also want to keep some level of protection and survivability instead of completely relying on mobility and camouflage. It’s a rather sluggish vehicle, but more than a match for anything that it encounters on the battlefield.
Sabre
The Sabre is an interesting British recon vehicle, assembled together from older Scorpion hulls and Fox turrets after both parts were brought to zero hour state (completely overhauled) by a company called Alvis. The resulting vehicle from the early 1990s was called Sabre and, considering it was made of decades old components, it worked fairly well as a scouting vehicle, participating in the Iraq War as well as in several peacekeeping missions. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Tier 6 Sabre Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle is one of the deadliest vehicles on the battlefield thanks to its rather unique upward-aimed Swingfire missile launcher that allows it to fire over obstacles or while hidden, for example behind uneven terrain. While being quite difficult to master, this ability makes it a potent ambusher, especially in skilled hands.
Challenger 1 Falcon
The Falcon is an experimental turret developed in the early 2000s in Jordan as an upgrade to the Jordanian Al-Hussein (Challenger 1) Main Battle Tanks. It's a low profile turret, armed with an automatically loaded Swiss 120mm L/50 RUAG smoothbore gun, capable of firing standard NATO ammunition. The operator controls the turret from inside the vehicle's hull, significantly improving crew protection. A prototype was built and tested, but the design was never mass-produced.

In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 1 Falcon is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. The best word to characterize this lumbering behemoth in the game is “tough” – its excellent hull armor shrugs off most shells while the damage its low profile turret takes when it is reduced by 90% thanks to the fact the crew is not located directly in it. Despite being generally very slow and sluggish, the Challenger 1 Falcon can take tremendous punishment and is ideal for the players who prefer the British Main Battle Tank play style.
Camouflage Loot Crate
Today, we’re launching another Camouflage Loot Crate on MY.GAMES Market.

In Development: CV90105 TML

Commanders!

As you know, the first prize of the recently unveiled Northern Wind Battle Path will be the CV90105 TML Light Tank and today, we’d like to tell you more about it.

The CV90105 TML Light Tank consists of a CV90 hull by Hägglunds and the TML turret by a French company called GIAT. It was one of the first fire support variants of the CV90 platform and was developed as a private venture between the two companies with export in mind.

While the hull was relatively unmodified, the turret was the truly interesting part. The TML stands for Tourelle Modulaire Légère, or Light Modular Turret. It was a three-man turret, developed by GIAT as a private venture. The idea was to design a modern modular combat module that would fit a wide variety of platforms, including the French AMX-10 RC, the prototype VEXTRA IFV or the Piranha platform by MOWAG. The development of the turret ran from the early 1990s to roughly 1997 and several iterations were offered.

The turret was armed with a manually loaded 105mm GIAT CN 105 G2 rifled cannon with performance roughly similar to the Royal Ordnance L7. Unlike the L7, however, the gun was fitted with a muzzle brake and was stabilized by a Swiss Curtiss-Wright stabilizer. The gun could depress to -6 degrees and elevate to +18 degrees and could fire various GIAT rounds, including HE, HEAT and APFSDS. In total, the vehicle carried 40 rounds of ammunition with 12 of them stored in a ready rack in the back of the turret.

In its basic form, the optics of the turret were somewhat rudimentary. However, in 1997, the ultimate version of the turret appeared where the gunner could aim the gun by using the SAGEM SAVAN 15 optics fitted with a thermal imager. The commander had a panoramic sight and his own thermal imager at his disposal as a part of the VIGY 15 optics. Remarkably for its time, the system did offer the hunter-killer feature where, while the gunner was engaging the target marked by the commander, the commander was already looking for a new one.

Regardless of iteration, the turret protection was very light and steel-only, much like the CV90 hull, although an additional armor kit was available. Additional protection systems included:
 • GALIX smoke grenade launchers
 • NBC protection
 • EMP protection
 • Reduced HEAT signature
 • Automatic fire suppression system (optional)

The vehicle itself weighed roughly 22.5 to 25 tons (depending on armor configuration), had a crew of four (three men in the turret) with three to four troops carried in the back of the vehicle. The CV90105 TML was powered by a Scania DS14 550hp inline 6-cylinder diesel engine paired with a Perkins x300 transmission. The maximum speed was roughly 70 km/h.

A single prototype first appeared in 1994, but failed to get a lot of attention, mostly due to its glaring flaw – insufficient protection that could not match that of an MBT. At the time, while expensive to operate, MBTs could be obtained on the cheap as the entire world was implementing budget cuts and Russia was offering entire tank divisions wholesale. The world was still firmly set in the Cold War tank use mindset and nobody could imagine how the September 11 attacks would change the nature of warfare only a few years later.

Nevertheless, the lessons learned in the development and marketing of the CV90105 TML would lead to the appearance of the CV90120 Light Tank in 1998 as well as another CV90105 iteration, this time fitted with a Cockerill turret. The TML variant itself would be offered until roughly 2001-2002, at which point it was phased out.

In Armored Warfare, the CV90105 TML will be a Tier 7 Premium Light Tank. But before we tell you more about it, please note:

The numbers below are very preliminary as the vehicle has not been properly tested. They are sure to change and should only be discussed as an indicator of how we’d like to set the vehicle up.

With that being said:

Here’s the deal about Vikings (at least in the movies) – they are wild warriors who fight half-naked, rushing into the enemy head-first and dealing tremendous damage with their battleaxes before retreating back to the cover of their Drakkars (with enough loot to last a year, of course).

The CV90105 TML will kind of be like that, a vehicle meant for aggressive and fast hit and run tactics, or for careful support from cover.

Its powerful 105mm gun will be fitted with a 12-round clip autoloader (the largest clip in the game), allowing you to fire one round per 2.5 seconds. Since the gun will be firing APFSDS (620mm penetration, 400 damage per shot) and HEAT rounds, it will reach a decent-enough damage-per-minute value of 5284 units. Once empty, the clip will take 30 seconds to reload (upgradable to 27 seconds with an additional module). The gun depression and elevation will be comfortable as well (-7/+19 degrees).

However, unlocking an additional progression firepower upgrade (available for completing Battle Path missions and challenges) is where things will start to get really fun for players who like swift and hard attacks. With the abovementioned module, the magazine size will be reduced to 5, the time between shots will be reduced to 1.3 seconds and the clip reload time will be reduced to 18 seconds. In other words, with this module unlocked, the CV90105 TML will be able to dish out enormous damage in a short span of time (although not enough to take down an MBT with a full set of hitpoints).

Combine that with decent mobility roughly comparable to the Stingray Light Tank (70 km/h maximum speed, 0-32 km/h in 3.3s), good vision range and stealth and you have one of the most potent hit-and-run vehicles in the game. It’s also worth noting that you’ll have three Active Abilities to choose from – Retreat, Rapid Fire and Zero In.

There will, however, be a major downside to all that firepower. The steel-only hide of this vehicle will barely protect it against light autocannons and trading damage with anything heavier will result in your swift and explosive demise.

As a result, this vehicle will offer two different playstyles, depending on your module choices. You can opt for a more sustained firepower with the large 12-round clip – this way you need to stay behind your own team or hide in bushes, turning your Light Tank into something like a close support Tank Destroyer. Or, you can opt for the fun option of turning your CV90105 TML into a hit and run monster. Ambush an enemy, empty the magazine into his sides or rear and immediately retreat. Regardless of your choice, getting caught in the open is definitely not advised.

We hope that you will enjoy it and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Realistic Battles return!

Commanders!

We’re happy to report that the Realistic Battles mode will become available again, starting from tomorrow, 9:00 CEST. This time around, they will stay available until June 3, 3:00 CEST (aka for a week).

We’ve fixed the most glaring issue where players could join the mode in forbidden vehicles using a platoon, which means that this time around, the experience should be even more pleasant. In this version, we've adjusted the mode as such:
 • The option to disable friendly fire in the settings no longer works in this mode
 • Adjusted the team damage punishment limits to account for the abovementioned change
 • Adjusted the appearance of some tracers

We are still working on polishing the game mode and this is not its final iteration. Stay tuned for more.

You can read more about the mode in our dedicated article.

See you on the battlefield!

Celebrating Victoria Day

Commanders!

On May 24, 2021, Canada celebrates Victoria Day, one of the most important holidays in the country. Named after Queen Victoria, the holiday celebrates the birthday of Canada’s monarch (who’s at least formally still the head of Canada), but for the common people, it is more a celebration of the approaching summer. Normally, parades would take place all over the country but under the circumstances, it will be safer to stay at home. That is why we’ve prepared a special celebration gift for you to enjoy even if you can’t gather outside with your loved ones and watch the fireworks.

To celebrate the occasion, we’ve prepared a gift for you, which includes:
 • Black Maple Leaf decal (typically used on Canadian armored vehicles)
 • Canadian flag decal
 • Canadian flag banner
 • 1 day of Premium Time

The gift is obtainable until May 27 via MY.GAMES Market.

Additionally, we’ve prepared a special bundle with three Canadian camouflages that are based on real life patterns. You can read more about them in our dedicated article.

Please note that each of these camouflages can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available (any vehicle with the exception of vehicles with permanent skins) and that each of these camouflages can be used in all three environments.

We hope that you’ll enjoy the gift and the offer and, to our Canadian players:

Happy Victoria Day!
