UPDATE v0.03

Here's the first (of plenty to come) update to Temple Of Rust. But first:

HELLO TO ALL YOU PLAYERS!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS GAME!


I've been waiting for YoYo Games to update GM2 (the engine/framework that I'm using to create this game) and now that they fixed the 3D Audio on their side the audio FX should fade out in the distance again. Aside from that I'm starting to work on the next environments and tweaking what I find on the way.

List of changes:
  • 3D Audio falloff fixed
  • new tilemaps and trees for trashfield environment
  • new sling ammo: JigSawBlades and ProximityGrenades
  • pickups now drop the previous pickup to swap
  • done some finetuning on all the AI's attack distances
  • Added build info to the main menu screen
  • speeded up the sling's loadup animation so it can fire faster
  • ...and other stuff I forgot


For the next update I want to further develop the later environments and building up some 'endgame' content so I can balance the Items and difficulty for the final stages a bit.
