Anniversary Content Update 2018-10-24
Hello all!
It's been two years since we released Meadow (actually in 2 days, but we're cheating on that). It's been an interesting project to work with, and we've appreciated all your input and enthusiasm along the way. Todays update is a mix of a lot of ideas and input, shaped through an M&D lens.
Regardless if you're an old or new player, we hope that you'll enjoy our second anniversary update.
But without further ado, here is what's new for today:

But without further ado, here is what's new for today:

Content additions
- A new animal: Wolf (Unlocked by owning the Symbols comic)
- A new piece of land is now added to the world (next to the winter biome)
- A new music piece (tied to the new piece of land)
- A new toy: Snow piles
- One new skin for the Hedgehog (from the Hedgehog skin art contest)
- 6 new achievements
Other changes
- There is now a way to change the resolution in the Connect screen (if it's far too small or large on your screen). Hold Left Shift and browse through the resolutions with UpArrow/DownArrow.
- The Eagle can now have the Home action.
- The sound effect when other players pick up items is now a limited effect in the audio menu.
- The grove number and server name is now on top of the pause menu.
- The block/mute animals menu now only shows the distance of the closest animals.
- You can now lock the emote hotbar.
- There is now a north facing arrow in the map view.
- You can now hold Left Control when scrolling to zoom the camera to change the vertical offset of the camera.
Bug fixes
- Muted and blocked animals are now saved between sessions.
- The bug where an animal would walk a little bit forward after backing and then stopping is now solved.
- Various level bugs fixed.
Hotfixes
- A lot of laggyness that came with the update should now be solved.
- The hidden achievement should now trigger as intended.
- The amount of animals in the pause view should now be correct.
- The waterfall sound where the river enters the sea is now removed.
- The new music track now has a delay, and then a percentage chance if it will start playing.
- Performance drops in certain areas that were new to the update should now be fixed.
- Certain translations are now updated.
- The Hide-button in the UI should now work again.
- The wolf emotes should now be as high-res as all other emotes.
- Snow piles should now be easier to see.
- The first wolf voice should now be louder.
- Change Camera Height is now key bindable.
- The new north arrow on the map is now togglable in the Gameplay settings.
- The Wolfs walking speed is slightly adjusted to fit the animation.
- The Wolfs collision is now adjusted (should solve issues like difficulties to jump on steep walls etc.)
- The Bear cub now have footprints and footstep sounds again.
- The Wolf should now not make idle head movements while drinking.
- The new areas music should now not be able to be interrupted in the middle.
- The randomization of the new areas music should now be more even.
- The water should now be affected by fog again.
- The correct hedgehog skin should now be displayed in the Puzzle screen.
- The idle head movements should not not trigger together with the play action.
- The auto-find of resolution when one first starts the game should now be better.
- Several issues with particle changes should now be solved (particles should no longer linger, there should now not be autumn leaves in the autumn cave after you respawn there, etc.)
