Hello everyone!

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2020 Onward Community Mapping contest! We have been very busy reviewing all 41 of the incredible and varied submissions from the community-- so much so that we had to delay our announcement date due to the amount of entries needing to be judged while the team works to finish update v1.8 and bring Onward to Oculus Quest(We'll share more on this in the near future!).

Just below are the results you’ve been waiting for, so read on to find out who won each of the prizes today and see the results of the judge’s panel for the runners up!

Thanks to everyone participating!

Contest submissions are closed! With over FORTY(40) submissions for the contest alone we’re super excited to share the competing entries made by the community! The submitted maps will now be played and rated by the community through the Onward Workshop menu. After this the team at Downpour Interactive will review the submissions from May 18th to May 27th.

Winners will be announced on May 29th and prizes will be shipped to the winning map creators as soon as possible after confirmation of address from winners through email. Map creators participating in this contest will be competing for one of six(6) prized care packages that contain a selection of unique and valuable prizes worth a combined total of over $9,000USD!

To celebrate the integration of custom maps support to Onward, we are going to hold a map making contest where creators will compete by making new and interesting maps for the Onward Workshop!

Map creators participating in this contest will be competing for one of six(6) identical care packages. All six prize packages combined are worth over $9,000USD!


Each of the 6 care packages contains these prizes below:

• Collectible helmet as seen used by the Marsoc faction in the game
