Milestone 5.41.0 STABLE Released!

[p]We've released another hotfix for some additional stability problems and gameplay issues players have encountered in Milestone 5. Please do report any bugs you encounter on the bug reporting subforums and we'll do our best to look into them.[/p][p]Bugfixes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash that could occur on the tactical mission debrief in some circumstances if the player had created custom soldier roles.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash on startup that could occur if the username of the local computer contains special characters that could mess up a file path (e.g. slashes, parentheses, etc).[/p]

Milestone 5.41.0 Released! (Experimental)

[p]This update is also only accessible by switching to our Experimental branches (instructions on how to do so here) - although please be aware they have slower load times and worse performance than normal builds due to the extra logging they contain![/p][p]Bugfixes:[/p]

Milestone 5.40.0 Released! (Experimental)

[p]This update is also only accessible by switching to our Experimental branches (instructions on how to do so here) - although please be aware they have slower load times and worse performance than normal builds due to the extra logging they contain![/p][p]This is a very simple fix that only affects a small number of users. It will only be on the Experimental branch for a few days as Milestone 6 will be arriving shortly.[/p][p]Bugfixes:[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a rare crash that could occur if a squadron intercepted a UFO at the exact moment it despawned.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed significant slowdown occurring when a unit crushed something while moving (most obvious when moving through fields of hay).[/p]
