Combat Missions 0.9.12: Strasbourg and Other Rewards

[h2]Snowflakes[/h2]
Following the good old tradition, ships of Tier V and above feature Snowflakes with holiday bonuses. In Updates 0.9.12 and 0.10.0, the first victory or earning 300 XP with a ship will yield you the respective rewards:

Tier V–VII ships: 400–750 Coal
Tier VIII–IX ships: 75 Steel
Tier X ship: Santa's Gift container

A total of 12 bundles will be available for a period of 20 days.

[h2]Dockyard[/h2]
In Update 0.9.12, players will be able to start building a new Japanese Tier IX battleship, IX Hizen, at the Dockyard. By completing the Dockyard combat missions, you can complete 22 out of 26 shipbuilding phases. Completing each phase will bring you valuable rewards, including destroyer II Tachibana and cruiser V Yahagi for the fifth and 15th phases respectively. Both ships come with the Winter permanent camouflages and Commanders with 6 skill points for these ships.

Completing the 20th shipbuilding phase will reward you with the New Year permanent camouflage that can be mounted on most of Tier IX ships. Among the other rewards, you'll find Santa's containers:

Santa's Gift for the third phase
Santa's Big Gift for the 10th and 22nd phases
Santa's Mega Gift the 24th phase

You can also complete shipbuilding phases by spending doubloons. When you finish construction, you'll obtain IX Hizen with the War Paint permanent camouflage, a Port slot, 10-skill-point Commander, and commemorative flag.

If you complete the construction of IX Hizen by spending doubloons, make sure to keep progressing through the Dockyard combat missions anyway—completing each phase will bring you 400 Research Points and 200 Steel. In total, you can earn up to 8,800 Research Points and 4,400 Steel.

[h2]Campaigns and Strasbourg[/h2]
Take part in two new temporary campaigns during Update 0.9.12. The first mission of the "In Pursuit of Strasbourg" campaign is already available, and subsequent missions will be unlocked every week. Missions of the "Ships and Fates" campaign are already available for completion, but you need VII Strasbourg to complete them.

For completing the first three missions of the "In Pursuit of Strasbourg" campaign, you'll receive 6-skill-point Commanders. As a reward for completing the fourth, final mission, you'll obtain VII Strasbourg, which is required to complete missions of the "Ships and Fates" campaign, along with a Port slot and Winter Holiday camouflage.

Completing six missions of the "Ships and Fates" campaign will reward you with ships adorned in their permanent camouflages, 6-skill-point Commanders, and Santa's Gift containers.

[h2]Ranked Battles[/h2]
To complete a special combat mission, earn

500 base XP in a single Ranked Battle. As a reward, you'll get two special signals. One combat mission can be completed during each of the six sprints in this season.

Daily Combat Mission

Besides these pleasant bonuses, a daily combat mission will be available to you. To complete it, earn

400,000 credits in Ranked, Co-op, or Random Battles, or in Operations, playing Tier V–X ships. As a reward, you'll receive

250,000 credits.

Chain of Combat Missions

To complete each of three parts of the combat mission chain, you'll need to win and cause 50,000 damage in a single battle. Completing one part will reward you with the Winter Strands camouflage, and the final reward is 2x Type 59 camouflages.

You can complete this chain of combat missions in Ranked, Random, and Co-op Battles, as well as in Operations, playing Tier V–X ships.

Chain of Combat Missions

To complete the chain of combat missions, you'll need to earn "Destroyed" ribbons. As a reward, you'll receive the Winter Strands camouflages.

You can complete this chain of combat missions in Ranked, Random, and Co-op Battles, as well as in Operations, playing Tier V–X ships.

One chain will become available to you each day. Progressing through each chain will reward you with XP, signals, credits, Coal, and even Steel!

[h3]Research Bureau[/h3]
Players with access to the Research Bureau will be able to earn even more Research Points by completing Daily Missions—400 Research Points for completing 25, 50, and 75 combat missions.

[h3]The conditions for completing the chains are as follows[/h3]

Each day, you can complete a chain of six missions.
You must earn a certain amount of base XP to complete a mission of the chain.
You must earn 250 base XP in a single battle in order to accomplish the first mission.
The second mission requires you to earn 500 base XP across several battles.
For missions 3, 4, 5, and 6: you need to earn 1,000; 1,100; 1,200; and 1,300 base XP in victorious battles, respectively.
All missions within a chain must be completed in successive order, playing Tier V–X ships in Random, Co-op, or Ranked Battles, or in Operations.
You'll receive any due rewards in your Port once you've completed the conditions of the missions.
After completing the entire chain, you'll obtain the final reward.
