Web Campaign: The Pacific War

The first stage of the Pacific War web campaign opens today. You'll have a chance to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the greatest naval battles and choose your own path through the Pacific theater of World War II on a special map.
Rewards
Completing the combat mission chains of the web campaign will reward you with Pacific Tokens, commemorative flags of the key naval battles of World War II, the "Strength for Freedom" unique patch, special signals, themed camouflage patterns, and other rewards.

- After you have completed all seven stages of the campaign, a bundle containing

- You can only obtain the "Strength for Freedom" unique patch as the final reward for completing the last stage of the Pacific War campaign.
Completing all the campaign stages will reward you with 1,750 Pacific Tokens. You can exchange these Tokens in a special section of the Armory for either a 12-skill-point Commander of any of eight nations or a Premium Ship II–IV container from sequentially available bundles that also hold other rewards. You can read more about how Pacific Tokens can be spent here.

- You can obtain Pacific Tokens only by completing the stages of the Pacific War campaign or from random bundles in the Armory.
How it works
- At different stages of the campaign, you will have to make choices that determine the conditions of the combat mission chains that you receive—sometimes their difficulty, the location of the battles, and even the side you will fight for. Make your choices consciously, but also keep in mind that luck and circumstances also play significant roles in war.
The campaign consists of seven stages—real-life battles that changed the course of the Pacific War. By selecting a corresponding marker on the map, you can view the assignment instructions—a brief description of the event, its circumstances, and the outcome, as well as find out who your character will be in this battle.

Once you start progressing through a stage, you can read the main character's memoirs and get a preset combat mission chain to complete, or you can assemble a chain on your own by making decisions step by step based on a specific situation that your character tells you about. Your actions will define the map of the campaign, the combat mission conditions to fulfill, and the reward for their completion.

- You can only complete the missions in Ranked, Random, and Co-op Battles. All other conditions will be revealed when you receive the combat mission chain and make key decisions in combat environments. You can also read them under a special tab in the game client.
You'll progress through the first three stages as Japanese deck aviation and naval officers. For the fourth stage, you'll be able to choose between the U.S. and Japanese Navies, the fifth stage will give you a chance to show your worth on both sides of the conflict, and the heroes of the sixth and seventh stages are the U.S. ship Commanders.

- Some stages of the Pacific War campaign are accompanied by historical photographs of the described events. All battle photos are courtesy of the U.S. Naval Institute Photo Archive. Looking for more thrilling shots related to naval history? Check the photo archive online here.
Every 2 days, a new campaign stage will be unlocked. The first one is available now—set sail to the shores of Malaysia or prowl the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Make your choice, but keep in mind that your decision is permanent. Complete the unlocked combat mission chains and earn rewards!
