Details
VIII Ragnarok is an immeasurably ancient vessel, a relic of days long forgotten. It was built in the shipyards orbiting a world of proud and fearsome warriors. Though the citizens adhered to the Imperial creed and paid their tithes, secret cabals on the planet’s surface worshipped Khorne, the Lord of Rage. Their cults were strong. They were hated. They were in a minority. At the appointed hour, they rose up and tried to overthrow their loyalist masters. They failed. They were defeated in a long, bloody war and all, to a man, perished in flames. Their names were wiped from history. But the fickle whims of the Warp decreed that their vengeful spirits would forever haunt the vessel Ragnarok, whose hull was being constructed in the docks above the planet's surface. To this day, Ragnarok and all aboard it cry, "Vengeance! Death! Blood for the Blood God!"

Originally designed for a Naval mission of the purpose now long forgotten, VIII Ignis Purgatio was lost during the Horus Heresy. After missing for several millennia, the ship was rediscovered on one of the Frontier worlds in the Jericho Reach. Though clearly a warship, it was put to use as a transport by its new, uncouth masters who failed to recognize its true potential. After undergoing intensive repairs and cleansing its quarters of its previous inhabitants, Ignis Purgatio was eventually returned to Imperial Navy service and, since then, it has become an essential component of Battlefleet Solar. Once again, it acts as a fearsome guard dog for humanity and, by proxy, the Emperor Himself.

Clan Brawl 10

The new Clan Brawl will take place on June 20! Don't miss this perfect opportunity to replenish your Clan's Treasury and fight for credits, Coal, and Elite Commander XP.

Rules ● Rewards
Rules
Date: June 20

Battles will be fought playing Tier X ships in a 3 vs. 3 format, with one battleship, one cruiser, and one destroyer in each team.
  • Mode: Domination
  • Battle duration: 15 minutes
Rewards: up to 3,500 Coal; 2,500,000 credits; 100,000 Elite Commander XP

Maps: Shatter, Warrior’s Path, Greece, Loop, and Crash Zone Alpha with a reduced combat zone

Please note: once you enter a battle, you won't be able to change your Clan's selected Prime Time in the current Clan Brawl.
Unlike Clan Battles, a Clan's placing in the Brawl Rating is determined for the battle region only—i.e. the region of the selected Prime Time.
Rules in Detail
• There is no limit on the number of participating teams from a single Clan. At the same time, each team's composition must conform to the aforementioned conditions.
  • Only victories are counted towards the Rating.
  • Because only victories are counted and defeats aren't taken into account, there’s no option to select Alpha or Bravo Ratings in the Clan Brawl.
  • Victories won in the Clan Brawl aren't counted towards the criteria to obtain Clan Battle emblems.
  • If two teams have the same number of victories, the higher position in the Rating will be given to the Clan that played their last winning battle at the earliest point in time.
Rewards
For achieving high positions in the final Rating, Clans will be awarded resources for their Treasuries.

Review of the Updates to Combat Missions

The combat mission system is one of the oldest components in our game.

Combat missions themselves have significantly changed since they first appeared in the game: we introduced Daily Challenges and Directives, added mission requirements for new battle types and ship branches, and made many other changes.

For Update 0.9.5, we've reworked the "Combat Missions" interface in order to synchronize it with all the current game features. The updated interface will make it easier to navigate through combat missions, their requirements, and rewards.

Summary of Changes ● Updated Interface ● Post-battle Statistics Screen ● "Or" Condition
Summary of Changes
• Access to the list of combat missions, their requirements, and rewards will now be more intuitive and user-friendly. The new interface allows us to display more combat missions on the screen, thus facilitating section navigation.
  • The detailed descriptions of mission requirements and the available rewards has also been improved. You no longer need to hover the cursor over different interface elements to see the rewards and requirements of a chain of combat missions.
  • The distribution of missions by tabs is now more simple and clear.
  • Directives have been moved to a separate tab in the "Combat Missions" section.
  • The post-battle statistics screen now displays additional information that will make it easier for you to track your progress in combat missions.
  • We've added an "or" condition that will allow us to create combat missions that are equally interesting to all players.
Updated Interface
The new interface for the "Combat Missions" tab provides access to the list of available combat missions and detailed information about their requirements, and will make it easier to track your progress.

Missions are now distributed across tabs. For example, Daily Missions, missions and Directives of the currently active event.

Under each tab, you'll see a list of the current combat missions, their requirements, your progress, and the rewards you can expect for completing them:
  • 1. Combat mission type. Shows whether the current mission is a chain, a recurring mission, a Directive, contains an "or" condition, or is a parent mission that requires the completion of other combat missions in order to finish it.
  • 2. Mission requirements and current progress.
  • 3. Icon with the main reward for the mission.
  • 4. Notification about the approaching expiration of the mission.
Pop-up tooltips will appear when you hover the mouse cursor over interface elements.

Clicking on a mission from the list will show the detailed requirements of this mission, your current progress, the remaining time in which to complete it, and the available rewards.

For Directives and combat mission chains, all the missions of this Directive/chain will be displayed, including a detailed description of their completion requirements.
Post-battle Statistics Screen
The statistics screen now shows the icons of rewards and indicates current progress.

When hovering the mouse cursor over a mission, a tooltip will pop up displaying the available rewards, mission requirements, and current progress.

The main new feature of the update is a tab containing detailed descriptions of the current combat missions that you can open by clicking on a button in the right part of the "Combat missions" section.
The interface allows you to view detailed information about any combat missions you've completed within a battle, without having to return to the Port.
"Or" Condition
To complete missions with an "or" condition, you need to complete only one of the two given requirements. For example, you can either earn 10,000 Base XP OR destroy 10 enemy ships. By completing either one of the two requirements, you'll satisfy the criteria of the combat mission and obtain the rewards for finishing it.

Note: it's not only the requirements of a combat mission that can be different—differing restrictions on battle type or ship tiers and types are also possible. For example, you could be tasked with either scoring 30 torpedo hits playing a Japanese destroyer, OR delivering 10 citadel hits playing a U.S. battleship.
This means that the choice is yours about which of the requirements you prefer to satisfy, and then complete the mission playing the most suitable ships.
Rewards
Want even more bonuses? From now on, to obtain Daily Challenge rewards, it’s completing individual combat missions that counts, as opposed to accomplishing entire chains as it was previously. For completing Daily Missions, starting from the date when Update 0.9.5 goes live until June 30, and also from July 1 until July 31, you’ll obtain the following rewards:
Please note: the new system is still being tested, so the rewards may differ in the future. We’ll closely monitor players' results and feedback, and, based on the outcomes, we'll decide on the further development of the Daily Challenges.
The conditions for completing the chains
• Each day, you can complete a chain of six missions.
  • You must earn a certain amount of base XP to complete a mission within the chain.
  • It's required that you earn 250 base XP in a single battle in order to accomplish the first mission.
  • The second mission requires you to earn 500 base XP across several battles.
  • To accomplish the third mission, you need to earn 1,000 base XP in victorious battles.
  • For missions 4, 5, and 6: you need to earn 1,100; 1,200; and 1,300 base XP in victorious battles, respectively.
  • All missions within a chain must be completed in successive order playing Tier V–X ships in Operations, Random, Co-op, or Ranked Battles. Daily Missions can also be completed in Submarine Battles while this battle type is available.
  • You'll receive any due rewards in your Port having completed the conditions of the missions.
  • After completing the entire chain, you'll obtain the final reward.
