Public Test of Update 12.1: Round 1

Captains!

Participation in the Public Test will give you the opportunity to earn containers that hold Premium ships, permanent and expendable camouflages, and other valuable items. All information on how to join the Public Test is available on a dedicated page of the official website.

[h2]Special Features of the Test[/h2]
Brawl test stages will be available on the Public Test Server.

[h3]Brawl 1[/h3]
  • Tier VIII ships in a 1 vs. 1 format.
  • All ship types are available.

[h3]Brawl 2[/h3]
  • Tier X ships in a 3 vs. 3 format.
  • All ship types are available.
  • You can participate in a Division of up to three players.
Restrictions: No more than one aircraft carrier, one submarine, two cruisers, two destroyers, and two battleships.


[h2]Combat Missions and Rewards[/h2]
You can earn Community Tokens by progressing through combat missions on the Public Test Server. These Tokens can be exchanged for various rewards in the Armory, including rare permanent camouflages, containers, and other in-game items.

The rewards for activities on the Public Test Server may differ from those on the Live Server.
Please note: The Battle Pass rewards on the Public Test Server differ from the rewards on the 12.1 Live Server.

Earn 2,000 Base XP playing Tier X ships in Random Battles, Co-op Battles, or Brawls.

Destroy three enemy ships in a single Random or Co-op Battle.

Reward on the Live Server: 450 Community Tokens

Ensure that 80,000 damage is dealt due to your spotting of enemy ships.

Reward on the Live Server: 7x Pioneer expendable camouflages

When you first enter the 12.1 Public Test Server during Rounds 1 and 2, you will be credited with 750 Coal and 100 Doubloons on the Live Server for each round.

Public Test 12.1 includes special daily missions that will bring you rewards on the Live Server.

This combat mission will only be available on the second and third days of each round of the Public Test. The mission refreshes at 02:00 UTC.

Part 1

Win two battles.
Part 2

Earn 1,500 Base XP.
Part 3

Deal 150,000 damage to enemy ships.
Part 4

Destroy three enemy ships.
Reward on the Live Server for completing the chain: 5,000 Free XP; 700 Coal; 800,000 Credits; and 10,000 Elite Commander XP
You can complete the combat mission chain in Brawls and Random Battles playing Tier VI–X ships and superships. The chain is available for completion three times per day at the following times: 11:00–15:00 UTC; 17:00–21:00 UTC; and 23:00–03:00 UTC. You can complete the missions and receive rewards for them three times per day.


[h3][h3]Second Combat Mission Chain[/h3][/h3]
Part 1

Deal 385,000 damage to enemy ships.
Part 2

Earn 13,200 Base XP.
Part 3

Earn 14 "Destroyed" ribbons.
Reward on the Live Server for completing the chain: 1x Tactical Special container and 6x "The Age of Sa Zhenbing" standard containers
You can complete this combat mission chain in Random and Co-op Battles, as well as in Brawls, playing Tier V–X ships and superships. The chain is available for completion throughout the entire duration of Public Test 12.1.


In total during Public Test 12.1, you can obtain up to 9,000 Community Tokens; 200 Doubloons; 25,100 Coal; 6x "The Age of Sa Zhenbing" standard containers; 3x Tactical Special containers; 14x Pioneer camouflages; 150,000 Free XP; 24,400,000 Credits; and 240,000 Elite Commander XP.

Players who download the Public Test client for the first time will also receive the following rewards on the Live Server: 250 Doubloons, 1x Tactical Special container, and 2x More Coal containers.

[h2]Starting Bonuses[/h2]
  • The research prices for ships and ship modules will be substantially discounted.
  • You'll be able to reset Commander skills free of charge.

If you're joining the Public Test for the first time since Update 12.0, you'll be awarded the following additional bonuses:
  • All researchable Tier VI and VIII ships with 21-skill-point Commanders
  • 500,000,000 Credits; 30,000 Doubloons; 250,000 Coal; and 90 days of Warships Premium Account.
  • Sets with expendable economic bonuses and 50 signals.

For testing purposes, all players on the Public Test server will be credited with Commander Dasha Perova for Soviet ships and Commander Scrooge Nicholson.

The giveaway will be held separately for each round of the Public Test.

Top performers can receive containers with Tier VI–VIII Premium ships and Unique Bonuses containers.

IMPORTANT! Because the update is still being tested, the information in this bulletin is tentative and reflects the state of game development at the time of its publication. Early Access to British Submarines

British submarines hit the seas in Early Access in Update 12.1. To celebrate the occasion, the Iron Resilience permanent camouflage for VIII Sturdy and the Victoria Cross permanent camouflage for X Thrasher, as well as the British Submarines commemorative flag, have been added to the game.

Global Combat Missions
[/h2]
Global combat missions are being introduced into the game in Update 12.1. Their goal will be common to all players on the server, and each participant will contribute to the mission progress. Global combat missions can be represented both by chains and individual missions.

After completing a global combat mission, all players who participated in it will receive the final reward. It's possible to complete global combat missions before their official deadlines. If this happens, only those players who actually contributed to the mission progress will receive the reward.

Domination With New Settings
[/h2]
During Public Test 12.1, you will be able to try out the modified Domination mode with three Key Areas for Random Battles. The new settings are aimed at eliminating situations where battles are too long or too short.

  • Starting number of points at the beginning of battle: 200
  • Points when destroying an enemy ship: +40 for all ship types
  • Points when losing a ship: –32 for all ship types

The modified Domination mode will be added to the following maps: New Dawn, Fault Line, Shards, Trident, Neighbors, Crash Zone Alpha, Northern Waters, and Faroe Islands. We will decide on the final fate of the modified Domination based on the results of testing the new settings.

Technical Updates
[/h2]
Added interactive music for submarines. It will match the special stealthy gameplay of submarines. The music will change depending on several factors:
  • Combat situation
  • Actions performed by the submarine or her opponents
  • Location of the submarine—on the surface or underwater

The new music will be active in Dynamic and Mixed modes.

Updated the display of squadrons on the decks of aircraft carriers in the Port and in battle. Aircraft carrier decks now display all types of squadrons available on the ship. The number of aircraft of each squadron on deck is equal to the size of the attacking flight.

Airship Escort in Update 12.0

The battle type that tasks you with escorting airships returns to the game with some improvements and a new name.

Airships historically carried intelligence agents bearing important messages and diplomats traveling to conduct secret negotiations in neutral territories.

Your objectives are to delay the hostile airship while also making sure that your allied airship is the first to reach the destination point.

The battle type involves Tier VIII–X ships of all types fighting in teams of 12.

[h3]The Task[/h3]
Lead your allied airship to its destination before the opposing team does or destroy all hostile ships.

Ships can affect the speed of the allied or opposing airships by staying within an interactive zone near each one:
  • Airships move at a standard speed if there are no players within its interactive zone.
  • Airships accelerate if only allied ships are within the borders of their interactive zones.
  • Airships slow down if at least one opposing ship is within the borders of their interactive zones.

If your team simultaneously speeds up the allied airship and slows down the opposing airship, the allied airship now receives additional acceleration. This change will help prevent situations that previously occurred where battles continued for too long when one of the teams was able to gain a serious lead over the opposing team. At the same time, the base airship speed has been reduced to prevent battles between equal teams from ending too quickly.

While staying within the interactive zone of any airship, players earn acceleration and slowdown points, plus some extra Credits and XP per battle.

The interface of the battle type has been revamped:
  • New hints that pop up in battle have been added, and the old ones have been updated.
  • The airship icons and movement progress bar have been changed.
  • The display of airship routes on the Minimap has been updated.
  • We've added new quick commands that can be activated by clicking the icon on the airship movement bar.

Win by constantly staying close to the allied airship over the last 5 minutes of a battle.

[h3]Photo Finish[/h3]
Win by bringing your allied airship to the destination point with a slight lead over the opposing airship while also speeding up the allied airship or slowing down the opposing airship at the end of the battle.

Simultaneously speed up your allied airship and slow down the opposing airship.

We've updated the routes for several old maps and added several new ones.
  • Battles will be fought on the following maps: Shards, Sea of Fortune, Trident, Warrior's Path, Estuary, Hotspot, Islands of Ice, North, and Shatter.
  • The routes for maps Trident, Warrior's Path, Estuary, Hotspot, and Islands of Ice have been updated.
