Road to PGC: PGC Point distribution

Hello, PUBG Esports fans!

The grand race to the PGC 2022 has finally begun and a number of teams have already cranked their engines to acquire precious PGC points!

Read on to learn more about PGC point distribution for all four regions.

EUROPE

EUROPE will have a total of 8 slots at PGC 2022 and teams will be seeded as follows:

The 7 teams with the highest number of points following the completion of PCS7, excluding the PCS7 winner, will qualify for the PUBG Global Championship 2022.
The winner of PCS7 will receive a direct invitation to PGC 2022.
To ensure global representation, at least one squad from each of Europe’s three sub-regions - Europe West, Europe East, and Middle East & Africa - will be guaranteed a place at PGC.
This means that the highest ranking squad from any sub-region that does not have a PGC-qualified team will be awarded the eighth qualifier seed.

AMERICAS

AMERICAS will be seeded with a total of 6 slots for the PGC 2022.

The winner of the PCS7
PGC Point leader from sub-region that doesn’t win PCS7
Top 4 teams in the PGC Qualification Points leaderboard, excluding the teams who have already qualified based on the above.

ASIA

ASIA will be seeded with a total of 12 slots for the PGC 2022.

Top 12 teams with the highest amount of points will be able to join the year's greatest event, PUBG Global Championship 2022.
To ensure global representation, at least one squad from each sub-region, Chinese Taipei, Japan, will each have one guaranteed slot within ASIA's 12 PGC slots.
In case the Top 12 does not include all sub-regions, The highest ranking squad from the missing sub-region will be awarded the eleventh and/or twelfth qualifier seed.

APAC

APAC will be seeded with a total of 6 slots for the PGC 2022.

Top 5 teams, excluding the PCS7 winner, with the highest amount of points will be able to join the year's greatest event, PUBG Global Championship 2022.
The winner of the PCS7 will receive direct invitation to the PGC 2022.
To ensure global representation, at least one squad from each sub-region, Thailand and Vietnam, will each have one guaranteed slot within APAC's 6 PGC slots.
In case the Top 6 does not include all sub-regions, The highest ranking squad from the missing sub-region will be awarded the fifth and/or sixth qualifier seed.

LABS: Zombie Survival 2.0 & Discord Event

Hello Survivors!

The zombies are back! This time, they’re stronger, smarter, and even more thirsty for blood…

In this second comeback of Zombie Survival, you’ll have to utilize new tactical items and cooperate with your team to outsmart the living dead… or else be doomed!

We also have a Discord event prepared for those brave enough to clear every stage of Zombie Survival 2.0. Read till the end to learn how to receive 30 Contraband Coupons by busting zombies!
[h2]Basic Rules[/h2]

Zombie Survival has a total of 10 stages that last 3 minutes each.
To get to the next stage:
- Kill every zombie OR
- At least one teammate stays alive until the very end.
Once a stage is cleared, you and your squad will have a 20-second break before moving on to the next stage.
- Teammates who died in the previous stage will respawn and continue to the next stage as well.
The game will end as a Zombie Dinner if the entire squad gets wiped out.

[h2]Zombies[/h2]

Zombies spawn once a stage starts.
As you proceed along the stages, expect more zombies, stronger zombies, and even special types of zombies!
There are new types of zombies in Zombie Survival 2.0 such as:
- Zombies throwing Molotov Cocktails,
- Zombies throwing Blue Zone Grenades,
- Zombies holding grenades in their mouths (can only be killed by headshots),
- And zombies with C4 attached to their bodies.

[h2]Survival Coins and New Items[/h2]

Survival Coins
- Earn Survival Coins by taking down zombies.
- The Survival Coins are stored in your inventory (Max. 999).
- Players cannot drop Survival Coins.
- Players who die and respawn for the next stage will have the amount of Survival Coins they had before they died.
Equipment
- The basic set of equipment each player starts out with is:
  - Deagle
  - 60EA .45 ACP
  - Backpack (Level 3)
  - 1 Grenade
- Purchase various tactical items through your inventory with Survival Coins.
- Stronger weapons cost more Survival Coins.
New Items
- There are additional tactical items in Zombie Survival 2.0 such as:
  - Traps to temporarily stop zombies from moving,
  - Sticky Traps and Sticky Chemicals to temporarily slow down zombies,
  - Zombie Stun Grenades to stun zombies,
  - Healing Chemicals to heal you and your team,
  - Zombie C4, Can Bombs, Zombie Blue Zone Grenades, Anti-Zombie Chemicals, and Anti-Zombie Table Legs to deal damage.

Scores are cumulated by taking down zombies.
Check your current score anytime during the game by pressing the world map.
You and your teammates’ final scores will be shown after the game.

PUBG's new patch overhauls the M416 and Mk12

Ever since PUBG: Battlegrounds went free-to-play, players have been flocking to the online arena to give this iconic battle royale another go. But, if you're an old timer, don't expect to head in and earn a tasty chicken dinner straight away - Krafton has been making some changes behind the scenes, including to the game's growing arsenal.

As part of PUBG patch 16.1, which hits both PC and consoles today, the development team has made sweeping changes to two of the weapons you can find in game to "prevent scenarios where players are all holstering the identical, overperforming weapon" according to the patch notes.

The M416 has received some love after update 7.2 nerfed the gun into the ground. While the Beryl M762 still remains one of the best guns in the game, Krafton hope this buff, which increases the damage, bullet velocity, and damage drop off range, will make people think twice about running it.
