[NA/EU] Patch Notes Summary - May 31, 2022

Greetings Adventurers,

Here are the latest update details for Black Desert Online on May 31, 2022 (Wed).
Contents
We made some quality of life improvements to the music album content so that our composing Adventurers will be able to compose with greater ease and in record time. We will continue to look for even more ways to improve on the music album even after this latest update. We'd like to thank all of our brilliant Adventurers who busily compose their hearts away in the world of Black Desert.
Music Album Improvements
● Added hotkeys for quicker use of the following functions during composition.
- Edit Mode: E
- Select Mode: S
- Play/Stop music: SPACE (Requires notes on the score.)
- Delete note: Delete (Requires having dragged over and selected notes with your mouse via Select Mode.)
● Improved the background of the Compose/Score window so that it's easier see the notes.
- We changed the background colors so it's easier to distinguish between black and white keys.
- Added a white line to mark the first note in every octave.

● Improved the function for copying and pasting notes in the Compose/Score window.
1. Select the desired notes via Select Mode, then copy them by pressing Ctrl + C.
2. After copying the notes, select the top portion of the desired measure, then press Ctrl + V to paste the copied notes.
3. You can always set Note Attribute to different values (1/4 to 1/64) to pick the right point in your score to paste your notes.
4. After copying the notes, you can also use the same method to paste notes with other instruments as well.
* If both instruments share the same technique, you can also copy and paste techniques along with notes as well.
5. After pasting the notes, the score will automatically re-focus on the measure where you pasted your notes.
6. If you pasted the wrong notes, you can always use the Delete key with the notes selected to remove them.

● Improved the function for moving notes in the Compose/Score window.
- Improved the area where you can select and move notes via Select Mode.
* You can now move notes to areas within your score that aren't visible on your Compose/Score window.
- Improved notes to now remain selected even after being moved. You can move the notes again as long as they remain selected.
- You can copy notes up to where they're visible on your current Compose/Score window.
* Ex) If you copied some notes where they're not fully visible on your current Compose/Score window, you will only be copying those notes to the point that's cut-off on your window.
- If you go out of the instrument's range or exit Select Mode, all notes will be removed.

● Added the "Replicate" function to copy all the notes of one instrument to another instrument with ease.
- Select "Replicate" by clicking the top right corner of the instrument box located on the left-hand side of the Compose/Score window. You can copy all the notes of one instrument to another instrument that has the same octave range.
- You will then be able to select a new instrument you wish to replicate all the notes of the previous instrument.
- The selected instrument requires the replicated instrument to share the similar musical range.
UI
We did want to introduce the feature that allows you to immediately check the Item Drop Rate Increase stats currently being applied with the last update. However, we thought that the level of completion was important as we wanted to make it more convenient to use, which resulted in implementing the feature later than intended. Improvements were made so that you can now check the Item Drop Rate being applied more conveniently from the My Information (P) window or Item Collection Increase Gauge UI.

● Added a UI that allows you to check the Item Collection Increase stats currently being applied.
- You can check this out from the Item Collection Increase Gauge UI and Battle Stats from the My Information (P) window.
* Node investment buffs applied according to a set probability are not included in the displayed total, nor will they be applied over the max limit

My Information (P)

Item Collection Increase Gauge UI

● Improved to display the stats for each level on the tooltip information of Ability stats on the My Information window.

● Separated each of the View My Character's Name, Show Monster Name, Show My Character's HP Gauge, and Show Monster HP Gauge features.
- You can adjust each of the settings for the "Show Name" and "Show HP Gauge" features by going to General Settings -> Show/Hide tab from Menu (ESC) -> Settings (F10) -> Settings.
Pearl Shop
● Added a feature that you can use to check your purchase history to find all purchases made in the past 30 days from the Pearl Shop (F3).
- You can cancel purchases that have not passed 7 days (168 hours) since purchase from [Purchase History].
- To cancel a purchase, you must have all items obtained from the purchase in your character's inventory or Pearl inventory.
- You can cancel purchases once every month, and upon canceling a purchase, the item obtained will be retrieved and you'll get your Pearls back. (Reset 1st day of each month).
