Imagine a loud eagle screech from above.
You know exactly the sound right?

However, the sound you are imagining actually stems from a red-tailed hawk. It’s just used to dub over eagles as the majestic freedom-bird in reality sounds more like a seagull. It’s true. Go look it up.

But first, let’s take a look at the new weekly track on Race Island:
Eagle Run (Screeeeeeeeech!)



and what a fitting name because this time we are racing airplanes! … or blimps, or rockets, or jumping boats. We’ve learned after 7 years of working on this game that we can’t really dictate how the players handle a task. But that’s the beauty of Trailmakers.

Bring your dinghies, keels, propellers, and boat motors for this one because we are racing on water this week. The Laguna Mojada is now open! You’ll find it on the same island as the previous race.



The is of course a dashing new decal for you to unlock upon completing the race - maritime themed of course!



Remember we are also hosting the second edition of Flashbulb vs. Content Creators races today at 17:00 CEST. This time we are taking on Yzuei on the watery track.

We hope you're enjoying the first race that has unlocked as part of the month long Race Festival! We noticed a couple of common issues players were experiencing with the track and we wanted to address them in a small patch so you could get back to topping those leaderboards and unlocking the seasonal Decals!

• Fixed an issue with collision on the wallride section of the Sandstone Circuit seasonal race.
  
• Fixed an issue with repairing on the ramps in Race Island placing you under the ramp.
  
• Fixed an issue with not being able to repair correctly in the Dethrone map.
  

This patch will be arriving for Console and Microsoft Store players early next week once it has gone through the required platform Certification process.

The Trailmakers Racing Festival is now live with the first track, Sandstone Circuit, now unlocked!

By completing the race you will earn the very first Seasonal Decal:


From May 16th to June 17th a total of four new races will unlock in Race Island - each with their own unique decal that is unlocked after completing the race.
