PvP Part 2 is Out Now! 🔫

[p]PvP Part 2 is out now and so are the DLCs;[/p][p]Packing Heat and Supply Pack: Frontline.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]There is A LOT to jump into so we’ll make this brief:[/p][p]When we did PvP Part 1 back in December we purposely called it “Part 1” as a way to force ourselves to make another one. The PvP Community in Trailmakers is big and contributes to keeping the game alive, so an aiming servo and a new map wasn’t quite gonna cut it.[/p][p]So today we are releasing Deathmatch, Flak Cannons, and two new underwater weapons for everyone. For those thirsty for more, consider buying Packing Heat for more weapons or Frontline for incredible new skins and sounds. Buying those DLCs actively funds the development of Trailmakers![/p][p]Thank you all so much for the hype you have shown for this update as we have been developing it. It has ignited our ambition to maaaaybe do a third one? Anyways, that’s for the future! [/p][p]At 14.00 today we will be doing some server-hopping live on Twitch and YouTube.[/p][p]So get some Deathmatch servers up and running![/p][p]Love you all,[/p][p]Flashbulb Games
[/p][p]Full patch notes for the nerds:[/p][p][/p][p]Highlights:[/p]

  • [p]GREAT CARRIER REEF - Level design changes to balance the map for Deathmatch.[/p]
  • [p]UI - We heard you like UI changes so we changed the UI of the server browser (no there won’t be a toggle, please don’t kill us. The server browser was old and sick. Had to be put out of its misery. It was mercy. MERCY.)[/p]
  • [p]PIONEERS - Okay, we were really proud of the tutorial we made and we just wanted everyone to see it. But when you skip it now you will no longer be forced into it when booting up the game (please play it though, it’s so cool. It got talking frogs and shit, I mean come on)[/p]
  • [p]BLOCKS - The weapons have hit the gym and gotten some shiny new muscles (It’s actually the muzzle flashes that have changed but cba with making a better pun).[/p]

Devs vs Creators đź’Ą Deathmatch with Scrapman and Yzuei

[p]The 4th edition of Devs vs. Creators went down on June 12, this time in the brand new Deathmatch gamemode.[/p][p]Being up 3-1, Yzuei shockingly offered an all-for-nothing in the final round which the Devs then won.
Soooo….. Devs win? But not really. Devs actually got their butts kicked. But it was fun!

You can watch the entire fight here:[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Remember, the update and two DLCs release next Tuesday, June 17![/p][p]Wishlist Packing Heat and Supply Pack: Frontline to get notified:[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

First look at Frontline, Release Date, Pricings, and more!

[p]The last real Dev Diary before the Devs vs. Creators showdown was broadcasted last Wednesday. [/p][p]We went on a deep dive into the Frontline DLC and showcased all of the new block skins and sounds.
[/p][p]As always you can get a recap here:[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]... and for all the juicy details watch the full Dev Diary here.
[/p][p]The price was also revealed during the stream:[/p][p]$9.99 for Packing Heat.[/p][p]$4.99 for Supply Pack - Frontline.
[/p][p]Release date for everything (Free and DLCs)  is June 17!
[/p][p]The criticism of the amount of DLCs we put out has not gone unnoticed. [/p][p]Fact of the matter is that no one at Flashbulb is lining their pockets with the revenue from these DLCs.
We are not doing it to buy mansions and private jets. We are doing DLCs because otherwise the studio can’t operate anymore. We are doing it to fund Trailmakers into the future so we can continue working on it and provide updates. We hope you find the pricings fair!
[/p][p]Also, we split the DLC into two this time to give you more of a choice to buy exactly what you want for less without having to buy one big DLC when you only want half the content. [/p][p][/p][p]We hope you will help us by wishlisting Supply Pack - Frontline.
It helps way more than you think!
[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]See you next week when we take on ScrapMan and Yzuei in the new Deathmatch game mode![/p][p]

[h3]Steam Cloud Support [/h3]
Today we are rolling out Steam Cloud Support:
  • We are cloud saving save games, transformation slots and blueprints.
  • We support up to 10,000 files and up to 1500MB, whichever comes first.
  • If you exceed any of these numbers, we cannot guarantee which files will be cloud saved, but none of your files should be deleted.
  • Cloud syncing 10,000 blueprints took ~20 minutes the first time I closed the game, but is instantaneous after that.
  • If you add blueprints to the blueprints folder while not in-game, they will not be sync'd until you start and then exit the game, due to how Steam Cloud save works.
  • We are "only" syncing the real save location, meaning that if your game uses the backup location in the installation folder, those will not be cloud saved.
