Early Access Hotfix 23

FIxed performance drop from Boss Healthbars, decreasing performance in Sandbox and Campaign.
Fixed AI not attacking bug
Fixed healthbar not showing for Ballista, Cannons, and Catapults
Improved Wraith Lord boss turning, he could get stuck in turning loops trying to face target now fixed
Decreased Orc stamina attack cost from 25 to 15, now he doesnt always get "No stamina" from attacking to much
FIxed allied boss healthbar always showing for Orcs, Red and Undead Factions, now they work properly only showing when looking at them.

Early Access Hotfix 22

Fixed a bug, where if you attacked with a normal attack then did slash attack with red hero, no damage would be dealt to enemies with the slash ability
Stopped all audio when switching scene to prevent very high sound from previous scene continue playing
Added Fight button sound
FIxed Speedcontroller UI issues when pausing

Early Access Hotfix 21

Improved hitting enemies no longer stuns the animation on player but slows down animation
Improved Save / Load, now when we load save shows previous won nodes
Removed autosave from happening on first round
Now when boss is active always show their healthbar
Added Waypoint Target to enemy bosses
FIxed huge FPS drop bug in game, should now no longer happen!
Improved AI should now attack immediatly upon reaching target
Improved AI pathing issues
Improved overall game texture performance, game should be less heavy on computer / cause less computer noise
Fixed critical hit, before crit dealt less damage now it works properly

Update 20

This update is all about polish, bugs, and smoother campaigns. We focused on fixing long standing issues, optimizing save/load, and making every battle feel sharper.

🧠 AI & Combat

Fixed issue where AI units had a big delay before reacting in battles β€” they now respond instantly when combat begins.

AI now uses more varied combat actions β€” dodges, strafes, and attacks are more natural and less synchronized.

Greatly improved target switching logic for smarter engagements.

Enhanced Arrow projectile performance for bowmen.

Fixed skeleton bombers ignoring enemies β€” they now explode correctly on impact.

Fixed Paladin’s area heal triggering twice.

Added hit marker feedback for clarity in combat.

Bullets no longer pass through the ground β€” projectile collisions are now more accurate.

Red archers now shoot less frequently for better balance.

Decreased Spider Arachnid HP and prevented it from being walked through.

Improved AI rotation.

βš”οΈ Balance & Stats

Fixed wrong damage/attack type icons on units β€” they now correctly display both attack and armor types.

Balanced armor and attack type stats, improving balance.

Rebalanced unit stats on some units that were to over powered.

Fixed abilities with wrong damage values.

🌍 Campaign & Progression

Added campaign map progress tracking β€” now shows territories owned, current enemy faction, and active tasks.

Added visual Redpath update when loading a saved game β€” campaign visuals now refresh properly after load.

Fixed saving right before battle is now impossible - made it so that you could pass through battles, and in some instances break the game if you saved on last chapter.

Added autosave system for campaign and general gameplay.

Massive performance bug fix: resolved an issue where loading a save could cause huge FPS drops or make the game unplayable.

Battles are now better balanced for smoother progression through the campaign.

Increased gold rewards after victories in campaign mode.

Added monsters and bosses to late-game dungeons.

Added moving units in quest scenes.

Cleaner save/load logic β€” should reduce load-related bugs.

Added ability to load saved games directly from the main menu.

Added localization support and fixed missing text on node tooltips.

Loading save, caused you to start on wrong node - now fixed, always loads into correct last node/wave.

Fixed unlock bug where enemy faction units could be unlocked incorrectly.

βš™οΈ Battle Creator (formerly Sandbox)

Renamed Sandbox mode to Battle Creator to better reflect its purpose.

Fixed formation rotation issues β€” no more locked or incorrect rotations when repositioning formations.

Fixed camera bug that caused two cameras to appear after dying and stopping the game.

Added 600-unit limit in Battle Creator.

Fixed dynamic snow wouldnt update correctly on Battle creator.

Fixed lod bugs on desert preset in Battle Creator.

Improved visuals meadow preset is more green.

Fixed softlock issue when reacing a certain level - not being able to progress game.

Ability upgrades increased to Level 12 from maximum upgrade level 5.

Hero level cap raised to Level 120 from maximum lvl 60.

Fixed casting projectiles, sometimes wouldnt cast or you could instant cast without playing animation properly - now no longer bugs.

Added progressive mana costs for higher-level abilities.

Fixed health upgrade buff not correctly increasing max HP.

Fixed unit purchase logic β€” now correctly buys as many as you can afford.

🧩 UI & Misc

Fixed recruit button showing over hero after defeat.

Fixed unit card visibility when unlocking many units.

Fixed node tooltips not displaying text.

General UI readability and clarity improvements.

Fixed unit shift purschase when buying 10 units, if you couldnt afford that amount it wouldnt let you buy under it - now fixed.

Other changes / fixes not listed has also been improved upon or changed, and various bug fixes.
