Update Notes By Jun 23 2020

Summary of changes:

  • Dxf import is improved to support Circles, Arcs, Ellipses and splines.
  • Geometry > Common Commands n Tools > Boolean(General). --If Only one object selected in scene, Mesh A is the only mesh of the only selected object. Mesh B is the mesh under cursor when this command is executed. --If two objects selected in scene, Mesh A is the only mesh of the first selected object.
  • Some bug fixings.

Update Notes By Apr 12 2020

Summary of changes:

* Subd crease algorithm is improved to behave in a more practical way.
* View > Windows > Subd Edge Crease Group Window. Subd edge crease groups can be created for individual object.
* "In Both Directions" option is added to "Shell" operation.
* "Export subdivision" option is added to fbx/dae export.
* Some bug fixings.

Update Notes By Nov 25 2019

Summary of changes:

  • View > Anti-Aliasing Enabled.
  • Edit > Preference > Option 1 > Display and Render > Multisample Type/Quality.
  • Edge mode > Cut Edges By Spline. Project all visible splines onto nearby selected mesh surfaces and create cut lines accordingly.
  • Edge mode > Cut Edges By Spline(Camera). Project all visible splines onto selected mesh surfaces in viewport camera direction and create cut lines accordingly.
  • This tool is improved, "Is Fine Transforming". It is a flag tool to tell the program to slow down transforming operations to achieve fine adjustment. Instead of using the hotkey of this tool, an alternative way is to press down an additional mouse button during the operation.
  • A new spline type is added. For detail see, Help > Contents > Modeling > Object Section > Spline Object > AB-Spline. It should make creating 2d splines with complex mechanic or organic shapes a lot easier.
  • A new option for dxf file import, Put all lines in one spline. It can be useful since there can be thousands of separated lines in a dxf file.
  • Some bug fixings.

Update Notes By Sep 20 2019

Summary of changes:

  • A new basic streamline tool, Brush_RelaxUV. Relax vertices base on existing uv settings to reduce uv distortion. This if useful for working on mesh with existing uv settings but has been projected onto new reference object's surface.
  • When this basic streamline tool, Brush_Relax, is activated, it will do RelaxUV instead if Shift key is depressed.
  • Subobject mode > Geometry > Create > Sculpt > RelaxUV.
  • Draw Mesh > Mesh_Tweak: Ctrl+Shift+MMB can be used to delete subobject loops.
  • A new basic streamline tool, "Threshold_Weld_ToSelection". Press down mouse button then drag to adjust weld threshold value. Welding will be performed base on threshold value on vertices nearby subobject selections.
  • Edit > Workplane > Workplane As Input Space. It affects these: View > Windows > Manipulation Input Window, Geometry > Common Commands n Tools > Reset Selection Position/Orientation.
  • .obj object importing is improved to reduce temporary ram consuming significantly in importing process. This is good for bringing in very high poly count objects.
  • Draw Mesh > Mesh_Tweak: Dot object can be snapped to symmetry plane by dragging the dot towards it.
  • Better view port performance on edges rendering.
  • Some bug fixings.

Update Notes By Aug 13 2019

Summary of changes:

  • Draw Mesh > Cut: Once the cut line is created, "Ctrl+Drag" can be used to move the position of the whole cut line.
  • Draw Mesh > Cut: To generate new geometries connecting to existing mesh from cut line straight away, use MMB instead of LMB to drag out the cut line.
  • Draw Mesh > Bridge: If you have created some lines, which are all opened or closed lines, "Ctrl+Shift+Space" can be used to create bridge lines across those lines quickly. If the bridge is on closed lines, "Ctrl+Shift+Drag" can be used to adjust the offset on closed lines.
  • Draw Mesh > Mesh_Tweak: "Caps-Lock+LMB" > LoopSlide/CapHole, "Caps-Lock+MMB" > ClosedEdgeLoop Rotate, "Caps-Lock+RMB" > ClosedEdgeLoop Spin.
  • Some bug fixings.
