qb Community Survey

Hey guys,

in the past weeks we had a couple brainstorming sessions. In these we thought about how to make qb more engaging and fun. We think we found the most important ones and wanted to share these with you:

  • Combat System
    • total rework of current “hack it till it dies” feeling
    • sometimes the player suddenly is surrounded by enemies and did not know where they came from
    • enemies should taunt the player with a distinguishable sound and wait around 2-3 seconds before attacking
    • enemies shall attack slower with visual feedback for the player to predict incoming damage
    • implement ability to block damage with shields and weapons


  • Regeneration System
    • food and potions are not used anymore once the regeneration skills are active
    • food and potions should grant more regeneration over longer time
    • the regeneration skills will be nerfed accordingly to make food and potions more attractive


  • Death System
    • it feels awkward when there is no penalty to a players death (i.e. keep inventory on death, respawn with 100% HP/Mana)
    • when the player dies he should leave his items at the place of death in a gravestone
    • the player then has the option to run back to the gravestone marked on the map or to re-equip at his base or use the ankh and respawn near the place of death


  • Health/Mana/Stamina System
    • a player with 1000HP can just kill everything with his bare fists, we want to remove that playstyle
    • Health/Mana/Stamina will increase automatically per player level up
    • the Health/Mana/Stamina +-buttons will be deleted/deactivated



Of course some of these changes are pretty drastic but we think it will benefit the overall feel of the game.
