01. Fixed: Sometimes the killed Seagulls (the not attacking ones) spawn not correctly functioning Dead Seagull model
02. Fixed: Not possible to kill Seagulls with Knife
03. Fixed: Not possible to easily walk up the Ramps
04. Fixed: Not displayed Wet status for Fire Sticks
05. Fixed: Sometimes not correct saving of the burning state of Oil Lantern hanging on Wall Lantern Holder

Alpha 58.E1 - Hotfix 1

Hello everyone,

A new Hotfix (1) for Alpha 58.E1 (experimental) is now available!

Bug Fixes:
01. Fixed: Game freezes when too long (more than 9 chars) seed was manually entered in New Game screen
02. Fixed: Game freezes when too big (more than 6 numerals) seed number was manually entered in New Game screen
03. Fixed: Aimed Crate content sometimes still shown in Invntory after the Inventory was closed and reopened again without aiming at any Crate
04. Fixed: Not possible to Fasten the Doors&Windows with Small Rope made from Hemp
05. Fixed: Not correct (only blinking) displaying of Fasten/Loosen status for Wall Torch Holder and Wall Lantern Holder
06. Fixed: Game stops the startup initialization sometimes due to some Windows locale setting (number parsing error)
07. Fixed: A couple of Inventory slots for Backpack not show quantity

Alpha 58.E1 Experimental - Tool Repair, Smoker


Hi everyone,

for this experimental build we were mainly focusing on issue fixing and we managed to add some new features too. The sharp tools can be Repaired to extend their usability. The Smoker offers meal preservation also in cold/wet weather.

To switch between stable and experimental game builds make sure game properties in your Steam client are set to either "Experimental" or "None" (which is the stable branch)

The tool Repairing mechanic has been finally added hence the spawn frequency of the sharp tools could be reduced. The maximum achievable quality is reduced by every Repair operation completed. The tools can be repaired by hitting them with a Carving Stone. More sophisticated method will be added later.


The new attach/detach mechanic for Doors & Windows replaces the - not very user friendly and intuitive - old system. The Doors & Windows should be attached at first from hand to their corresponding building modules and they need to be fastened with rope afterwards.


The Cold Smoker offers a good option for food preservation in wet and cold environment when the Meal Drier would not work properly. To have good quality smoke it is needed to add wet wood into is't fire (of course the kindling needs to be dry).


The Wall Torch Holder and the Wall Lantern Holder bring more light into the dark nights. The Wall Lantern Holder is quite useful to lit up the exterior of the Rafts on the ocean.


The campfires can be extinguished by pouring water on it. The bigger the fire the more water is needed. The wood gets wet, so the next ignition could be a little harder until the wood not dries up a little. The small campfires can be extinguished by destroying them too but that removes all the remaining wood from them.

For the next update we plan to continue to work on fixing more complex and hard to track down issues.  The additional plans include also the Mud material, Primitive Stove, Reworked tutorials, Map UI, Old Telescope, Old Pistol, Spear, Dolphins, Simple Quests, Building modules aging ... We will work also on solving the new issues and we will recheck some older issues too. Other new features will be added as implementing the planned features and fixing issues will allow us to.

Hello everyone,

A new Hotfix (4) for Alpha 57 (regular and experimental) is now available!

Bug Fixes:
01. Fixed: Not possible to aim/use any of the objects in the game after it was broken before previous save/load (now regarding the saved blueprints)
02. Fixed: Misaligned leaves on top of the Young Banana Tree
03. Fixed: Sliding/falling of some cut down Coconut/Banana leaves into ground and disappearing
04. Fixed: Sometimes the killed Crabs don't spawn meat (their HP goes to negative value)
05. Fixed: Sometimes the killed Turtles don't spawn meat (their HP goes to negative value)
06. Fixed: Sitting down to ground makes the player character to sit/levitate in the air 70 cm above the ground
07. Fixed: Extremely slow Raft rotating
08. Fixed: Raft sometimes loses buoyancy after a new dragged raft module got attached
09. Fixed: Sliding/falling of some spawned ingredients into ground and disappearing when destroying objects
10. Fixed: Destroying an almost degraded tool spawns ingredients which can be used to craft a 100% quality tool again
