Summer Schedule 2021


Hi everyone,

the summer is finally here and in this short announcement we would like to inform you about our summer schedule.

We are leaving to vacation with our families and in between we are also going to work in our full time jobs which means stress in general so we can't guarantee there will be regular updates during summer time.

The last regular pre-summer release was published on June 11th. We plan to release the next game update on September 10th (Experimental) and on October 1 (Regular). From October we plan to resume our normal schedule and will return to release an update every 8th Friday (on 5th Friday it is Experimental release day).

During the stretched interval between these releases we plan to work on some interesting and unique features that need more work and we hope you will like them. Also it is very needed to migrate our game to a newer game engine build which is much more optimized and stable (the engine itself). Another plan is to add the much awaited bigger (~3 times bigger area of the actual biggest grassy island ) islands too (but still not the biggest ones :-) ). There will be ponds, hills and big forests too. Besides the above mentioned big changes the bug fixing will be still our almost top priority.

With the help of our community we together have done a big amount of work and laid down a very good foundation to further improve our game to all our liking.

Thank you all for all of the feedback, ideas and suggestions and for the patience during solving issues!

Alpha 56 - Hotfix 1

Hello everyone,

A new Hotfix (1) for Alpha 56 (regular and experimental) is now available!

01. Fixed: Sometimes Not floating Sticks, Coconuts ...

03. Fixed: In case of Player death while having the Sailing UI open the "Death" screen buttons are inaccessible
04. Fixed: In case of Player death while having the Sailing UI open the Sailing UI is still displayed after returning to the Main Menu
05. Fixed: Sailing UI controls still reacting when the Death screen is also shown
06. Fixed: Sailing UI controls still reacting when the Map is shown
07. Fixed: Not intentional closing of Sailing UI while the Map is displayed too and the Esc key is pressed

Alpha 56 - Ingame bug reporting, Wall Candle Holder


Hi everyone,

for this build we were mainly focusing on adding the In-game Bug Reporting system. There are collectible Wall Candle holders and a big amount of bugs were fixed too.

Our community always has been a big help for us in finding and reporting bugs. To make the process much more simpler we decided to add an in-game Bug report system. The entire process is as simple as to open the bug report screen from the menu, fill in an optional E-mail (for contact if there would be some more detail needed), a mandatory Description field and press the Send button. The system automatically collects and compresses all the needed info and uploads to our bug report server.


There is a new Collectible Candle Holder which is possible to Attach to a wall. It is small addition which makes the living more nice and comfortable. The here introduced new wall attach/detach mechanic will be added for Doors&Windows too because it eliminates all the collisions/unpleasant situations with attaching/detaching the Doors&Windows to walls (mainly on rafts).


The ground textures were improved and the vegetation models were optimized. In some reference scenes the triangle count dropped to about 25% of the original amount. This opens up the door to a sooner introduction of bigger islands.

For the next update we plan to work even more on fixing more complex and hard to track down issues.  It is needed to migrate our game to a newer game engine too. The additional plans include also the Bigger islands, Ponds, Big forest, Map UI, Old Telescope, Old Pistol, Spear, Smoker, Dolphins, Simple Quests, Building modules aging ... We will work also on solving the new issues and we will recheck some older issues too. Other new features will be added as implementing the planned features and fixing issues will allow us to.
