MMO delayed: Developer had mold problems at house. Game under dev tho!

Yo,

I had detrimental effects to my health because of crunch on the 19th. So I balanced my lifestyle with exercise etc. Still I got worse til I slept 35 hours out of 50 and was still tired! I went to a doc. Then after I talked with the doc, realized I had mold issues after looking online. So as I rennovate out the mold, and sleep at my mom's, I am healthy again! Dev starts again right now.

Since I couldn't get MMO out for the 19th, lets shoot for an update at the station-fighter mode sometime next week. The MMO is looking SUPER awesome tho. We have sooooo many awesome ideas, and we want the core first base game to be really fun too! We'll live and thrive on updates but we want some sort of splash opener, so a lil extra time is good.

Xbox360 controller fixed

Xbox360 controller fixed. I didn't know thrust was disabled. I fixed it, and Mars getting intense for impending MMO release

I think somewhere along the lines in unity upgrades, I lost my data for input so I reworked the map... And used Axis 10 & 9 instead of shared 3... But my code should have never worked on shared axis 3... So I'm thinking internally with UNITY maybe when they changed input or something with Microsoft... Who knows, who cares, it wasn't TOO tough to fix, just confusing.

MMO coming around on 19th if everything keeps going smooth.

We'll have one hand crafted zone, and the rest will be procedural at first.

We want to have character rolling (yes rolling!), skills, talents, inventory.

A universe with each npc with 120 personalities.

An economy that you buy and sell, and you help the economy grow if the vendor's personality is to expand, franchise or go corporate... Also war can blow up factories and such, so it is cool that 1 million players can't just sell shiny rocks 24/7 and make billions unless that store is selling more than they buy...
Otherwise, same ol buy low sell high mechanism.

I tried to get it a 90% discount, but steam limits to 50% and that's fine.

The game is fun now, but in 30 days, we're tentatively launching the MMO. It isn't just a regular MMO, we want it to be the BEST MMO on Earth in Space. ;) I think we're the first MMO designed competently for a forever end game you'll not get bored of.

MMO component in... kinda

It has been a long run since we first wanted to do MMO around spring of 2020 if I remember correctly.(probably don't, lol) We now have TWO revolutionary technologies in Starfighter General!!!

Revolutionary Technology #1: DOTS from UNITY. UNITY will become very very big, and its stock price is going to go through the roof with this technology as people adopt it. Basically it allows for 10-1000x as many objects rendered and processes run by unlocking ALL your cores!!! In the future it may allow 100,000-10,000,000x as many things!!! This is technology many really big games will be using in the next 2 years+.

Revolutionary Technology #2: A research level networking system never used on this scale. It will allow for unlimited action players in the same zone, unlike current technologies which only allow 64-256. It will 1/2 your lag aka latency!!! And finally it costs nothing to keep the server live. Tired of other game companies shutting down your favorite online video games? I will never do that to you. Your progress is eternal.

That's the cool part. The lame part is that while the ENGINE is live, content has not been made yet. You can fly around some, and if someone else is on, you'll see em under the DEV ONLY OPTIONS. So this update is almost mostly just for my dev crew to start cranking out content so it is fun, but there are some small bug fixes in client and server.

This is still a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR update as each update past this will make the MMO Galaxy Explore part more and more fun!!! Tell a friend about this game. Get your base leveled up well to get an advantage in the MMO world when it comes out. This is live! There is no beta! Data will not be lost. So play the base and fleet building component now like a grind to prepare for the MMO which is not just a grind, but has literally infinite end game that you'll never get bored of unlike any MMO til date.

This is HUGE! And you're a part of it. Be prepared for an amazing MMO experience with tons of comedy yet fun serious game mechanics and community. Nothing like this has ever been attempted. I believe in about 8 months, we could easily be the #1 Space MMO on Earth if things go well. Again, get that base and fleet leveled up so your MMO character starts off ahead of others.
