We passed the review process today!
All lights are green for a release, as I was told today by Steam we passed their review to go live.
I'm set to release it this January 15, which also is my birthday! I've spent years making this game alone and I'm stoked beyond belief that it is being released. Sometimes I know I talk in a "we" voice; but all the rigging, animations, and programming was done by me over this time. I did alter a couple models, but 99% of all the art I created from scratch too. I think I say we because I use the Unreal Engine and without those people - this game wouldn't exist. You can toss Blender in there as well for a big thank you.
My hope is that I have created a unique game that you will find vastly rewarding. I scripted a lot of game play variation, so that the game doesn't become stagnant or boring. You unlock certain modes by leveling up and will be able to fish real life conditions by today's date, as an example. It will get harder as you play too. I also think you will see a lot AAA features, like the UI, by a single dev. It has been an exhausting endeavor but one where I worked my hardest to bring you a great game.
I don't expect miracles of marketing magic to happen at launch but I do hope I will be able to earn a loyal fan base over time, as people are exposed to the game. Thanks for being part of the journey so far!
