Weekly Update 0.47 Frightening Fall Part 1

Smaller update this week as it is the first part in a series of fall themed updates. We have added a new biome: forest, as well as pumpkins. The next couple updates will be focused around spooky things as Halloween approaches, such as new Zim types and food thieving animals!

Keep the feedback coming it is what helps us keep making this game better and better.

Weekly Update 0.46 Animals!!

Hey guys sorry for the delay in the update! Updates will start regularly coming out on Mondays and Tuesdays instead of Saturday & Sunday from here on out.

In this weeks update we have re-worked and re-textured all of the animals in the game. Animals were some of the worst looking things in the game in my option and we have made an effort to make that no longer the case :) It is most apparent in the wolves and the bears. (seen below)


Lots of other changes to animals such as animal variants for snow worlds and there being baby versions of all the animals!! Hope you guys enjoy. As always keep the feedback coming, and let us know how we are doing!

  • Changed all of the animal textures to look way better
  • Changed animals to now have shadows
  • Changed animal composition in snow worlds

  • Changed animals will now age and grow into adults
  • Fixed bug with capture jobs not always being finished properly
  • Fixed bug that would stop saved animals names from being displayed

Weekly Update 0.45 Snow Biome

This weeks update is the first step to a larger set of features, dynamic starting settings! When you start your world you can now select your worlds biome!


We plan to add more biomes and more diversity within these biomes for more replayability and challenge! We also plan on allowing things like worldsize and frequency of zims to be selected as well.

Most of the features in this update revolve around the new snow biome but we manged to sneak in a couple of other fixes in as well :)

Weekly Update 0.44 End of the apoocalypse

The dreaded bug that made survivors poop uncontrollably known as the apoocalypse has been fixed! This weeks update focuses mainly on graphical and game-play fixes. With small things such as survivors only taking what they need when building and crafting to allow for more crafting jobs to happen at the same time in the early game.

  • Added Extra effects when survivors die
  • Changed Logic for survivors to only pickup what they need when building/crafting
  • Changed layering logic to make it so survivors don't overlap as much
  • Changed Zims can now go under water across deep water
  • Fixed Apoocalypse bug.

  • Fixed bug that didn't properly remove zones when removing zones
  • Fixed bug with illnesses not going away without medicine

Weekly update 0.43 Pigs and Jobs

Main features in this weeks update is the addition of pigs rework of jobs and crafting code.
There is a new animal of pigs! The old days of queuing 4 things to be crafted and your survivors making 15 of that item are gone. Survivors are much better at crafting the correct amount of an item when asked. On top of that we have re-worked a lot of the job system for survivors to better prioritize jobs and not forget jobs they have done before.

As you also may of noticed we spent a some time this week re-working some of our branding art in order to prepare for the new Steam Library Beta happening this next week.

  • Changed Vegetarians will now eat meat if they have no options and are starving and be unhappy.
