New Unity Beta build available to play!
Hello Heroes!
We are once again happy to announce that we are hitting our next milestone in the ongoing Unity port rollout. Today at roughly 10:30 AM PST we are setting up our soft launch for Steam! Similar to our Web soft launch we want to make sure players have the option to opt into the Beta path and still have the option to play the stable build if they so choose.
Although we fully appreciate those of you that take the time to test the new Unity version of Bit Heroes on Steam please recognize that this is still considered a Beta and you may experience a few bugs/issues. If you run into any issues with the Unity version please let the developers know by responding in the #unity-port-issues channel found on our official Discord (discord.gg/BitHeroes).
How do I access the Beta path in Steam?
1) -- Fully exit and reopen Steam.
2) -- Find Bit Heroes among your list of games within your Library.
3) -- Right-click on “Bit Heroes” and click “Properties” in the drop-down.
4) -- Click on the “Beta” tab found on the properties pop-up window.
5) -- Select the ‘beta - Public Beta’ path via the drop-down and then click the “x” icon on the window.
6) -- Please wait for the game to finish updating before launching the game.
How do I stop playing the Beta version in Steam? Similar to the steps you had to take to join the Beta you will want to go back click the Beta tab within the game’s properties window and deselect the Beta path so that it reads ‘None.’ Please follow the steps found above if you need a refresher on how to access the Beta tab. After you deselect the Beta path you will still need to wait for the game to update and relaunch before reaccessing the stable version.

Thanks so much to all of you that have shown understanding and support while we have worked to get this build out the door. If you would like to help test this build then please head on over to #unity-port-issues for a few more details on how to help.
Much love, The Entire Bit Heroes Development Team
