[h3]The Short Games Showcase is here![/h3][p]Have you found yourself quoting the much-memed, "I Want Shorter Games With Worse Graphics and I'm Not Kidding" ? Well then this showcase is for you![/p][p]These are games that don't bother with AAA ray-traced graphics, and cut the fat out of their narratives. Explore the full event to find MANY discounted games that you can complete in a single evening![/p][p]A huge thank you to Ogre Pixel for organizing this event![/p][p][/p][h3]Where has Fancy Pants Man been!??[/h3][p]A question we've been hearing a lot of lately...[/p][p]As we shared a year ago, Brad cracked Super FPA back open in order to optimize and improve the game. The hope was to clean the game up, improve stability on modern machines, and bring over some enhancements created for the Classic Pack. This ended up being a MUCH more challenging process than anticipated.[/p][p]In hindsight it may not have been the right time, as attempting to take this on created a massive development bottleneck for both titles. What was meant to be some casual bugfixing and optimizing quickly turned up a litany of other issues.[/p][p]Fixing one thing in Super inevitable broke two others. This quickly spun out of control, and meant needing to pour over every line of old code - all of which Brad has improved upon tenfold in the years since! Attempting to untangle that off the back of a hectic launch for Classic Pack led to developmental brickwall on both projects.[/p][p]Brad had to instead commit himself to learning Computer vision in Python in order to improve his technical abilities. This should significantly improve the process of debugging / repeated testing / uploading builds. Not very exciting stuff to provide updates on, while also largely not really being progress you can show.[/p][p][/p][h3]TL;DR[/h3][p]Brad is working on massive technical improvements for Super Fancy Pants Adventures.
Currently this is limited to a Pantreon-only beta branch.
When this update is completed it will be applied to the game entirely for free.
At that time, we'll be ready to move back to the Classic Pack and the future of all things Fancy Pants!

[h2]UPDATE?[/h2]
Brad has been hard at work on a new update for Super!! This is primarily to address performance and stability - as that has depreciated some over the last ~7 years.

This can be accessed in the SFPA Beta branch:
Right click the game in your Steam library > Properties > Beta tab > use code "kittenkabootle" > Check code > Select the beta in the dropdown
You should see an update initiate, which confirms it has worked!

Your feedback on this beta would be greatly appreciated!!
We wanted to have this public in time for the sale, but the current build isn't quite stable enough. This update ended up being a LOT more effort than anyone was expecting! We should have more to share "soon".
