Update 1.1.1 No More Combat Power Loss

Season 2 of Mechabellum is near. To enable more players to obtain more seasonal rewards before the end of Season 1, we have further adjusted the Combat Power system. We also added a new initial specialist and some new unit variants to the game, as well as some balance adjustments.
[h2]Combat Power Adjustments[/h2]
  • Players outside the top 200 worldwide no longer lose combat power when defeated.
  • Increased combat power gained when winning for players outside the top 200 worldwide.
  • Players in the top 200 worldwide can lose up to 600 combat power in a battle.
    Developer's Note: With these changes, we hope to enable players with lower Combat Power to increase their Combat Power faster while still keeping the Combat Power leaderboard competitive.

[h2]New Specialist[/h2]
  • New specialist [Missile Specialist]: Get 2 [Missile Strike] for free on round 2.
    Developer's Note: Missile Specialist is the first in a series of new specialists, and we plan to add more specialists who provide Battlefield Powers and Equipment Items in the coming month.

[h2]New Variants[/h2]
  • New variant [Extended Range Phantom Ray]: increases Phantom Ray's range by 20, but decreases HP by 40%.
  • New variant [Mass-Produced Sandworm]: Decreases the recruitment cost of Sandworm by 100, but decreases Sandworm's ATK by 30% and HP by 30%.

[h2]Balance Adjustments[/h2]
[h3]Crawler[/h3]
  • HP decreased from 292 to 277 (5% decrease).
  • [Loose Formation]'s HP reduction increased from 30% to 40%.
  • The cost of [Mechanical Rage] decreased from 200 to 150.
  • The cost of [Impact Drill] decreased from 200 to 150.
  • [Subterranean Blitz]'s damage reduction increased from 50% to 55%
    Developer's Note: By reducing the HP of Crawlers, we hope that Fangs and Mustangs will be better against Crawlers in the early game.

[h3]Overlord[/h3]
  • HP decreased from 16099 to 15294 (5% decrease).
  • [High-Explosive Ammo]'s ATK reduction increased from 30% to 40%.
    Developer's Note: In the mid and low MMR ranges, players often feel helpless when facing a large number of high-level Overlords. This adjustment hopes to give cheaper units a better chance against Overlords while also maintaining the basic role of Overlords intact.

[h3]Sledgehammer[/h3]
  • The EXP required to rank up increased by 25%.
    Developer's Note: While not very powerful in lower MMR ranges, some Sledgehammer strategies have above-average win rates in higher MMR ranges above 2000. We hope to nerf these strategies by slowing down Sledgehammer's promotion speed.

[h3]Wraith[/h3]
  • The cost of [Degeneration Beam] decreased from 300 to 250.
    Developer's Note: We hope to increase Wraith's usage rate by making its supporting Tech cheaper.

[h3]Scorpion[/h3]
  • ATK increased from 10047 to 10650 (6% increase).
  • [Siege Mode]'s range bonus increased from 80 to 100.
  • Developer's note: We hope to increase Scorpion's usage rate by making it stronger against high HP units.

[h3]Phantom Ray[/h3]
  • The cost of [Stealth Clock] increased from 200 to 250.
  • The cost of [Sticky Oil Bomb] decreased from 200 to 100.
  • The cost of [Burst Mode] decreased from 250 to 200.
    Developer's Note: As a new unit, the Phantom Ray has a surprisingly balanced win rate. However, some Phantom Ray Techs do not see enough usage. These changes aim to balance the usage rate for all Phantom Ray Techs.

[h3]Equipment[/h3]
  • [Nano Repair Kit] adjusted from level 2 to level 3.
    Developer's Note: While the Nano Repair Kit's win rate isn't particularly impressive, it can be very powerful in certain situations, so we decided to change it from a level 2 card to a level 3 card.

[h3]Unit drops[/h3]
  • The cost of high-level Sandworm cards has been increased.
    Developer's Note: Although the overall win rate of Sandworms is not outstanding, the impact of high-level Sandworm reinforcements on the battlefield is significantly greater than that of other giant units. This change hopes to weaken the impact of high-level Sandworm reinforcements.


[h2]Others[/h2]
  • Optimized the sound effects of the Phantom Ray.
  • Fixed and optimized several localized texts based on community feedback.

[h3]Stormcaller[/h3]
  • Attack interval increased from 6.3s to 6.6s.
  • ATK increased from 784 to 821 (5% increase).
  • [High-Explosive Ammo]'s ATK reduction increased from 40% to 50%, the cost increased from 150 to 200.
    Note: While maintaining Stormcaller's DPS, this change is intended to reduce the threat of Stormcaller to light units.

  • The cost of [Elite Marksman] increased from 300 to 400.

[h3]Tarantula[/h3]
  • [High-Explosive Ammo]'s splash range bonus increased from 5m to 7m, but ATK reduction increased from 30% to 40%.

  • The cost of [Replicate] increased from 200 to 250.
  • The cost of [Armor Enhancement] increased from 200 to 250.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to freeze.
  • Fixed an issue that caused data errors in 4-Player Brawl.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented unit skins from displaying properly.
  • Fixed several UI display issues.
  • Fixed multiple translation issues.
  • Fixed an issue related to sticky oil. Now igniting sticky oil outside the shield will always also ignite adjacent sticky oil inside the shield.
