Update 0.8.2.4

Dear commanders, yesterday we released a new major update in the test branch. Curators from the community are testing it and have begun to provide us with feedback. The new major update is expected to be officially released in two weeks, but before that we still need to make some small balance adjustments.

  • New variant [Improved Sandworm]: Increases Sandworm’s movement speed by 3, ATK by 40%, splash range by 5, but increases recruitment cost by 100

  • HP decreased from 48644 to 46698 (4% decrease).

[h3]Melting Point[/h3]
  • HP decreased from 39869 to 38274 (4% decrease).

[h3]Crawler[/h3]
  • HP decreased from 307 to 292 (5% decrease).

[h3]Phoenix[/h3]
  • The cost of [Jump Drive] is increased from 50 to 100.

[h3]Wraith[/h3]
  • The cost of [Degeneration Beam] is increased from 200 to 300

[h3]Sandworm[/h3]
  • Larva's HP increased from 3506 to 4788 (37% increase).
  • Larva's ATK decreased from 1244 to 1027 (17% decrease).
  • Larva's attack interval is decreased from 2.5s to 2.0s.
  • The cost of [Sandstorm] is increased from 300 to 400

[h3]Senior Manufacturing Specialist[/h3]
  • Adjusted from level 2 to level 3

Update 0.8.2.3

Fixed an issue where War Factory would sometimes not properly attack units in shield.
Fixed an issue where spectators were out of sync with actual matches.
Fixed an issue where the difficulty was set incorrectly when creating a duo survival mode room.
Fixed an issue where Larval and Experimental Sandworm model was disappearing.

[h3]Fortress[/h3]
  • HP decreased from 51205 to 48644 (5% decrease).
  • [Barrier]'s shield HP is adjusted from 40000 to 36000 per level.

[h3]Marksman[/h3]
  • [Elite Marksman] is adjusted to: Effect increases with unit Rank, increasing range by 5 and ATK by 20% per Rank increase.

[h3]Vulcan[/h3]
  • HP increased from 38585 to 39920 (4% increase).

[h3]Melting Point[/h3]
  • The launch interval of the Tech [Electromagnetic Barrage] is adjusted from 13 seconds to 15 seconds.
  • The produce interval of the Tech [Crawler Production] is adjusted from 30 seconds to 32 seconds.

[h3]Overlord[/h3]
  • ATK is increased from 3514 to 3742 (6.5% increase).
  • Attack interval is increased from 4.4s to 4.6s.

[h3]Arclight[/h3]
  • [Charged Shot] is adjusted to: Increases ATK by 300%, but increases attack interval by 35%.
    Note: The DPS increase of [Charged Shot] remains the same as before the adjustment.

[h3]Phoenix[/h3]
  • [Elite Marksman] is adjusted to: Effect increases with unit Rank, increasing range by 5 and ATK by 20% per Rank increase.

[h3]War Factory[/h3]
  • Range decreased from 110 to 100.

[h3]Wraith[/h3]
  • [Degeneration Beam] is adjusted to: Projects a Degeneration Beam to enemy units within a range of 120m. The affected enemy units' movement speed is reduced by 40%, their ATK is reduced by 20%, and they take an additional 30% damage when attacked.

[h3]Scorpion[/h3]
  • The cost of [Doubleshot] is decreased from 300 to 200.

[h3]Sandworm[/h3]
  • ATK is increased from 7567 to 8324 (10% increase).
  • The cost of [Mechanical Division] is decreased from 250 to 200.
  • The cost of [Anti-Air] is decreased from 250 to 100.
  • The cost of [Replicate] is decreased from 250 to 200.
  • The cost of [Sandstorm] is increased from 250 to 300.

[h3]4-Player Brawl[/h3]
  • Stronger Unit Drops will now appear in the 4-Player Brawl, and these Unit Drops are also more expensive.
  • Now in the 4-Player Brawl mode, Hackers of level 2 and above will not appear as Unit Drop.


[h2]Bugfixes[/h2]
  • Fixed several unit targeting issues caused by Sandworms.
  • Fixed an issue where killing some neutral units in 4-Player Brawl did not reward players supplies and points.

Our latest update sees the much anticipated debut of The Sandworm, along with improvements to Lobby UI, and some adjustments to 4-Player Brawl which includes a brand new map for the mode! New Unit: Sandworm

The Sandworm is formidable, giant melee unit specializing in burrowing underground, allowing the Sandworm to approach its enemies without taking damage while it remains beneath the surface!
Note: As always all units are subject to balancing changes as we collect vital feedback from the Community! Please share your experiences with The Sandworm as it makes it debut via Discord or over on our Steam Forums!


UI Adjustments
  • Multiple sorting options are now provided for multiplayer lobbies to facilitate players in observing matches.
  • Players can now see ongoing tournament matches in the multiplayer lobby.
  • Players can now more easily find matches involving streamers.
4-Player Brawl Adjustments

Our latest mode sees its first set of changes based on player feedback along with the debut of our new 4-player Brawl map!
  • Killing neutral enemies now grants Victory Points.
  • Destroying other player's core building now grants Victory Points and Supplies.
  • Increased the total victory points to win from 5000 to 8000.
  • Added additional new boss units!
  • Boss units will now spawn closer to the current Point-Leader.
    Note: This change is to nerf Overlord's Jump Drive in MMR range.



Other Balance Adjustments
  • Increased the HP bonus of the [Armor Enhancement] Tech for Rhino, Scorpion, Fortress, Melting Point, Vulcan, and War Factory from 35% to 50%.
