Junkyard Devlog - World Map and Exploration

Hello!

We’re back with some new info about Junkyard Simulator. As you might know, we’re still testing and improving our game to give you the best possible experience. In the meantime, we would like to show you various gameplay elements.

Today, we would like to introduce you to the map and exploration of the world.
MAP
Junkyard Simulator is an experience based on instant searching for the most interesting scrap, parts of the machines and other various items to process, renovate or sale. If you want your business to grow you should be aware of your surroundings. That is why we want to enrich the gameplay by giving you a large map to explore.

Large Map will give you detailed information about the game area. You’ll be able to get a better lay of the land and plan your routes efficiently. You should keep in mind that it offers a lot of interesting locations with loot to find.
CART
As you can find a lot of scrap in the surrounding areas, you will need something more than a backpack to transport it. The cart will be perfect at the beginning of your adventure - take it and load what you can. It will be a good setup for developing your business and earning some money to afford better vehicles.

Unfortunately, it is hard to pick up girls with that… but Lucy will be very helpful in expanding your junky empire by giving you some quests ^^
LOCATIONS
While exploring the open world of Junkyard simulator you will find various locations for scavenging. Check abandoned buildings in the forest, visit junkyards of your fellow NPC’s and unlock new skills or game mechanics by completing quests in different places.

Hello, little squirrel!

Sometimes you will be able to explore some more complex locations when it comes to the search for proper loot.

If you don’t want to use the map all the time you can also pay attention to signs that will help in navigating the area.

And finally, we're working hard to give you also some nice views :)

We would like to share some more info about the gameplay features in upcoming devlogs so stay tuned! Thank you for your patience and support for our game!
Yours,
Dev Team
