8.1.5 Balancing

Balancing:
Players now begin with 5 more attack,
magic, and mana.
Increased the static stats to various
weapons and armor.
Increased the significance of item
quality. (superior, artisan, etc.)
Increased all burning damage by
25-50%.
Doubled the environmental effect
of all fire spells.
Prepare Carbon now triples accuracy
and recovery. (was double)
Increased magic component to gravity
damage by 20-25%.
Gravity is now able to stagger.
Knocked down now applies 50% weakness
to gravity.

Misc:
Prologue books are no longer randomized.
Removed excessive common events from
bombs. (this may fix their extreme
variance)
Fixed Ancient Lava.

New Features:
Game is now unencrypted. (this allows
players easier access to all files)
Added a folder for color blindness.

Balancing:
More levels, military, and arena fame
are now required for enemies to run
away outside of combat.
Dexterity and stamina no longer
affect counter chance. (countering will
one day be revamped or removed altogether)

Misc:
Fixed music crash inside of Undercity.
Fixed reposition not showing up for
mace skills.

Removed Flanking mechanic. (this was
a feature that required foray)

Balancing:
Removed Foray mechanic. (walls have been
reduced to compensate)
Stagger no longer increases damage taken
by 12.5%.
Stagger no longer increases gravity damage
taken by 12.5%.
Stagger no longer lowers magic, spirit,
defense, or luck.
Stagger now lowers attack and dexterity by
10%. (was 20%).
Knocked Down now increases damage taken
by 25%. (was 50%)
Halved the hidden holy damage bonus to
Sentence.

Misc:
Fixed Triple Threat's stats.
Fixed allies not showing up in a certain
boss fight.

New Features:
Increased enemy tech limit from 120 to 150.
Chaos Castle exterior can now be sailed
to. (requires destruction of strongest enemy
base) (area is still in development, so
reaching it now will give 1 talent point)

Balancing:
Increased encounter strength for 2nd to last
level from 1750 to 2000. (boss was increased
from 3500 to 5000)
Increased encounter strength of first last
level boss from 7000 to 7500.
Slightly buffed allies for an end game fight.

Misc:
Talent points can now be used in last level.
Fixed inability to leave barracks at town
level 7.
Fixed Power Infused Golem and Power Infused
Ghost Ship talents from affecting entire team.
