Hello there!

Roboquest is featured at the EGX and the PAX festivals from September 12th to September 20th.

A free demo build of Roboquest is available from now on until the end of the festivals:

This is an outdated build (the same you might have experienced before).
The demo does not contain many of the latest game improvements, modifications and fixes.

Hello and welcome to the first Roboquest update since the release of the game in Early Access.

The team has been hard at work adding new content and fixing game issues reported by the community - we thank you for the continued feedback and support.

Today we are excited to be releasing our first update containing bug fixes and addressing reported issues. Behind the scenes, we are continuing to work on the content outlined in the Roadmap and it will be ready… when it’s ready 🙂 we may share a few updates between now and then.

Going forward we plan to update the Steam community regularly, and in a few days time, we will share information about the current state of Early Access and our plans to update the game based on your feedback.

• Added support for resolutions: 1366x768, 2560x1440, 3840x2160
  
• VSync now works as intended
  
• Gamepad: You can now press "B" to exit the Loadout Selector
  
• Removed "Demo Build" image on the landing screen

• These weapons have been buffed: Assault Sentry, Shock Sniper, Sulfator Shotgun, Grenade Launcher and Grandma's Shotgun
  
• The perk Hero Landing has been removed (but might return in the future one way or another)

• Spawned sentries’ health bar now properly disappear when dropping the weapon
  
• Now properly scales with either Demolition or Technology (previously did not scale on Technology)
  
• The hologram always disappears when you're no longer trying to spawn a sentry

• You should no longer get stuck in the tutorial arena
  
• Added missing collision to the EV Station

[h3]Miscellaneous[/h3]

• You should no longer be stuck in a black screen after the boss intro cinematic or before loading a level in multiplayer (you may still experience a long black screen when first launching the game, in which case we can only recommend you to let the game load until we fix the issue).
  
• You can no longer be stuck in jump pads
  
• You can no longer be stuck in "jetpack mode" after finishing a level
  
• Fixed missing audio on Diggy Mole introduction cinematic
  
• Several sniper weapons no longer have a slight shoot offset (Blast Sniper, Junk Arquebus and Shock Sniper)
  
• Fixed various multiplayer crashes when restarting the game
  
• Rocket 3D model is now properly attached to the Guardian's arm instead of flying around in third person view
  
• Removed various flying turret spots
  
• Arena health bar should no longer remain on the screen after clearing it
  
• Boss doors will no longer close before crossing them
  
• Fixed the line of sight which make it possible to see through the Boss door (in Act 1)
  
• Trading the Mine Gun with the other player no longer leaves "flying detonators" behind

Hey everyone!

After the overwhelmingly positive reactions we received about the action-packed soundtrack brought by Noisecream, we couldn't help but to bring it to Steam.

You can now experience the full 20 tracks from the album "Robocream".

The album also contains tracks from unreleased Roboquest levels!

We'll also be adding a bundle to the Roboquest store page to acquire both the game and the soundtrack at once for a discount.

[h3]THE JOURNEY[/h3]
After spending the last five years building a studio from scratch, finding the best people for the job, and working tirelessly, we are finally ready to release Roboquest on Early Access.

Roboquest is a fast FPS roguelite in a scorched future world. You play as a rebooted Guardian, ready to kick some metal ass! Fight with your buddy in co-op or by yourself (solo) and annihilate hordes of deadly bots in ever-changing environments.

To make Roboquest, we decided that we needed to stay independent to protect our artistic vision for the game. Our vision was influenced by 90’s fast paced shooters like Doom, Quake, and Unreal, and modern roguelites such as Dead Cells, Enter the Gungeon, and Nuclear Throne.

Other influences included sci-fi books and films, as well as our fascination with robots. You can see how our experiences led us to Roboquest.

We have made other games along the way, but for Roboquest we spent years on the game’s core aspects before going into full production.
We designed, developed, and tested features, countless iterations to find the right formula.

[h3]THE FORMULA[/h3]

• Balanced shooting, arcade like kinetic forward movement and combat, and roguelite inspired gameplay
  
• Create a compelling campaign that is equally satisfying to play Solo or in 2P co-op.
  
• Replayability - Gameplay that stays fresh, relevant, challenging, and most importantly...fun
  
• Procedural environment generation where every new playthrough feels organically different.
  
• Crafting a compelling story about the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
  
• A smart and fair meta-reward system that challenges and rewards players for their hard work with more tools, weapons and perks that will cater to each player’s unique style of play
  
• Destroying tons of robots in fun and surprising ways.
  
• Noisecream created an original soundtrack that takes the game to the next level.

We released a demo in June and alpha in July and received a lot of positive and constructive feedback.
The feedback was vital and helped us fine tune the game. It also had an invigorating effect on the whole team.

[h3]EARLY ACCESS[/h3]
Now that we are in full production, we are excited to share Roboquest in Early Access ($17.99 USD) with you, and we are even more energized to release future content, new features, and other surprises between now and our 2021 release date.

Early Access was always our plan and we want to use the platform for what it was made for: community feedback which is vital for our indie studio and will help us achieve our dream of creating a game fans will love.

We are releasing Roboquest in Early Access today and players will be able to experience a part of the diverse biomes, enemies, classes, weapons and content already in production. We are hard at work to extend the game further with frequent and exciting updates.
