“Preacher Industry”: The first weapon in the Arsenal is the “ fury” formally known as the SMG.

Major Update - Maps!

Hello everyone!

Yes, we are a bit late! But, we have a lot of updates for you :)
A new map and four updated, UI update and fixes...
Are you ready for this March update? Let's go!

[h2]MAPS:[/h2]
  • CTF-HyperSquare: A new capture the flag map. This time, we release an outdoor map. It is scaled for 3v3 to 5v5; take a look:
  • DUEL-Laboratory: Laboratory has a new level art update. We released an intermediate version for the latest duel tournament, and here the "final" version:
  • CTF-Basketball: We updated basketball with some structural changes, texture updates, and lights.
  • CTF-Vertigo: Vertigo is updated with a structural change for flag rooms:
  • CTF-Spacedock: Dynamic lights update.

[h2]UI:[/h2]
  • Loading screen: Now, map creators can add a loading screen to their map.
  • Steam Avatar in spectator view:
  • End game UI: Previously, when the game ended, scores, stats, and vote map UI were loaded. Now, we load only one UI with scores/stats/chat and vote map:

[h2]Fixes:[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue on the replay page menu where a textfield was not updated.
  • Fixed an issue on the HUD page, where the opacity status bar was not updated as expected.
  • Fixed an issue on the commands page, where some sensitivities conversion was not correct.
  • Fixed an issue on the error message window where the textfield wasn't big enough.
  • Fixed an issue where a player in spectator mode blocks the match on a "waiting state".
  • Fixed some collisions on CTF-Spacedock.

March Update!

Hello everyone!
It's time for the first update of the month. Let's go!

DUEL:
  • Fix an issue with sniper damage when using the standard robot.
  • Robot health pickups drop when dying:
    1. Light robot -> 2x20 HP
    2. Standard robot ->3x20 HP
    3. Heavy robot -> 4x20 HP
  • Respawn delay:
    1. Light robot -> 3.0 seconds (old 1 seconds).
    2. Standard robot -> 2.5 seconds (old 1 seconds).
    3. Heavy robot -> 2.0 seconds (old 1 seconds).


MAPS:
  • DUEL-Ross_128b: Fix an issue where the game can't start a game.
  • DUEL-Creuset: Structural change to permit the heavy robot to run everywhere.
  • DM-BlutArena: Death volume added not to allow players to teleport outside the map.
  • DM-Spacedock: Death volume added to not allow players to teleport outside the map.
  • DUEL-Fuse: Plasma and Rocket pickups location update + Health pickups & some collision fixed.


Duel-laboratory: It's the new version of the DUEL-REMAINING prototype map. The level art and lighting aren't finished, but the map structure is definitive. We release it at this stage for this Saturday's Invitational :)



WEAPONS
  • Instagib: Firerate 1.0 (old 0.85s).
  • Melee: Firerate 2.0 (old 1.0s).
  • Damage: -8hp/tick (old -5hp/tick).
  • Rocket Launcher: Air Rocket detection reworked.
  • Shotgun: Shells up to 12 (old 8).
  • Electrogun: Beam detection updated.
  • Plasma: Firerate decreate to 0.125s (old 0.115) / Plasma alt-fire: projectile explosion delay is longer.


In the week, we will update DUEL maps to include minimaps for casters (that means no structural changes). You can do your training, and maps will not be different for the tournament.
