Update 0.55 is ready for download!

Hello, fighters!

Today we’ve released update 0.55 with which we’ve begun a new cycle of changes and updates of Will To Live universe. This update includes the new location “The Coast”, new events and quests! But first things first!

A new location, monsters, and event

“The Coast” location is a new location that targeted on PvE-content. This location is available to players who reached the 30th level and contains new events and quests, and the content of this location is targeted on players with 35-levels and higher.



For example, players have to help locals repel attacks of the monsters in the vicinity of the Tower in order to maintain life in this settlement. In return, as a reward, locals will offer various tasks, trade, usage of warehouses, and give you a possibility for the craft.



Also, it is possible to meet not only new monsters like “Lurker” on this location but already familiar monsters with completely reworked behavior and improved attack skills as well.

With the new location, we’ve increased a level cap: now you can gain your character up to the 45th level.
In addition to new quests on “The Coast” location, we’ve added a few introductory quests to old locations: to Miron, Claudia, Tihon, and the new life was appeared in the “Maze” location: the listener.



Fishing


The new game mechanic was added - fishing. Thankful to fishing, new recipes of food appeared. In addition, fish can be cut with a knife to obtain rarer and more desirable components that can be used in new recipes for painting weapons.

New weapon and paint


MSR-12 - a new high-level high-precision semi-auto rifle with a 10-round magazine capacity is a good successor to the “Pioneer” rifle. Available for 40th level characters.



Gunsmiths have a new weapon paint that features a more durable polymer coating with “right” camouflage patterns and good tactical colors. You can get the paint components you need from fishing. Later, balloons with this paint will be added to the assortment of the in-game store. You can also create balloons of new paint for weapons yourself.



New server




Together with update 0.55, we have prepared a new server - MSK-6. Since we observe a serious workload on the MSK-2 No-PK server (sometimes more than 400 people play on this server in the peak), we decided to open a new No-PK server.

We will be glad to see fans of a comfortable game on the new server!

Engineers


In this version, the engineers got new equipment at their disposal: healing grenades. These grenades heal characters in the designated area very quickly, increasing the ability of the Engineer as a support class. There have also been minor cosmetic changes in the interface during mines usage, and the i-HR has been improved.



  • Now i-HR heals much more efficiently, the range of i-HR has been increased, and additional experience is credited when the supporting with healing during a kill;
  • Added healing grenades. Available from all merchants for engineers from level 13;
  • When using mines, the remaining number of mines in the inventory is now displayed;
  • The number of planted mines in the location is displayed.

Misc changes
  • More than 10 quests have been added. New quests will continue to be added in the future updates;
  • Added new recipes for food;
  • Added new paint recipes;
  • Added a recipe for an ointment that relieves burns;
  • Added the ability to get a recipe for crafting .308 WIN FMJ M1 ammo;
  • The main color of chitin armor and pants is now in the same tone by default;
  • EMI-grenades can now disable night vision devices and collimators;
  • Pharmacies, other medicines, and food can now be used while reloading weapons;
  • Improved animation of throwing grenades;
  • Grenades can now fall under the water and explode there;
  • Improved belchbog behavior;
  • Improved swamp symbiont animations;
  • Fixed an issue with the symbiont in the Bunker;
  • Added display of character class and level in the list of clan members;
  • Added a new clan quest;
  • Added a new artifact;
  • Added a possibility to search for goods by name in the NPC trading interface;
  • The “Hello” and “Pay Respect” animations are now playable from the third person;
  • Fixed a problem due to which in some cases characters could "slide" at the transition to the "Tunnels" from the "Eastern Territories";
  • Similar products are now displayed in the in-game store;
  • Improved widget of effects (buffs and debuffs);
  • Added recipe for recycling titanium plates;
  • Fixed problems with character movement when simultaneously pressing reload, sprint, and forward movement.

Easy Anti-cheat integration

Update 0.54.8 [hotfix]

Good day, fighters!

Today we’ve published a small update in which stability of the connection to servers has been improved. Also, we’ve, added few in-game achievements, and made some changes in the damage system.
When we made weapons unlinked to classes, we’ve received a lot of feedback from our community about that some classes became very universal, and some players even asked us to return weapon link to classes.



What was changed?

Now, when characters use the non-class weapons, the range of the possible minimum and maximum damage will be reduced [for example, now it is possible to deal less damage than specified in specifications even with full penetration of the target]. Also, when a character uses a weapon of his class, the range of theoretical minimum possible damage increases as well. Thus, the usage of the weapon of your class gives more advantages now, than a non-class weapon.

Update 0.54.8



Hello, fighters!

Today we've prepared patch 0.54.8 with the following changes:

- Added a few quests that you can simply meet at the location;
- Fixed various problems with a weapon reloading;
- Revised Nagan animation. Now it can be canceled;
- The cast of power equipment (like EMI-grenades) can now be canceled;
- Updated sounds of knives hitting;
- Weapon fire mode now saves when moving between locations;
- Added new recipes of armor plates for factional armor;
- Added special armor plate recipes for chitin armor;
- Updated rewards for the event with a large corpse-eater;
- Updated rewards for the event with the matador in the canyon;
- Added a new resource - titanium;
- Added run mode switch in control settings (Default: Hold)
- Improved obstacle course in the initial camp;
- Improved dialogs at NPCs in the initial camp. Added ability to skip the obstacle course;
- Added a confirmation dialog box of the taking of items from the storage of the craft when you click the “Take All” button (furnace, press machine, and others);
- Now in the “Recipes” the necessary tools and components for creating have a special icon and when hovering over it, information on the consumption and wear of tools/components is displayed;
- In "Recipes" items with a possible modification display special icon, when hovering over which or on the subject itself, information about the modification is displayed;
- The widget of the group will be automatically shifted to the left if there is no other widget now;
- Melee weapons now do damage to equipment;
- Quests on MRP-1 M1 and i-HR can now be completed only once every 6 hours;
- Changed the position of the machine gun at the southern outpost in the location “Canyon”;
- Updated map of the location “Forestry”;
- Reworked the design of objects in the location “Forestry”;
- Event has been added in the Bunker;
- New achievements have been added;
- Paid kits for entry-level players have been added to the in-game store;
- An alternative gas mask is added to the in-game store, which is durable than the common gas mask. Available in four colors;
- A new series of weapon skins have been added to the in-game store: “Chameleon”
- Added new skins of the "Dragon" series;

We would also like to add that this update is preparatory for the next, larger update 0.55, on which we worked in parallel all this time.

Update 0.54.7

Hello, fighters!

Today we’ve prepared update 0.54.7 in which we were focused on different bug fixes, including minor bugs and not only.



List of the changes:
  • Optimization of different meshes and textures of different objects;
  • The interaction of grass with lighting has been adjusted, which should have a positive effect on the picture in general;
  • Fixed bugs with the chat;
  • Fixed bugs trading GUI;
  • Fixed a bug when command core hacking interface didn’t close after capturing (but it is still was possible to close it by “F” button);
  • Fixed a bug when player can be kicked to the main menu during the interacting with devices (MRP-1, MHP-1)
  • Particles of the “Liquid Spirit” anomaly have been improved;
  • Fixed a bug when after completing daily quest “Fangs of elder boars” fangs lose their weight;
  • Solved a lot of minor bugs.
