Patch Notes, 21w05a [Experimental]: Physics refactors and optimizations
Physic rigidbodies have been migrated to the new Data-Oriented architecture to get some CPU performance improvements.
It will ultimately allow to offload the collisions detection and resolving to secondary thread, yielding a massive fps improvement and steady fps during collision heavy situations.
Again this was a heavy refactor, some regressions might have slipped through.
