[New build - DEFAULT] 26w11a: Controller, Multiplayer, Hotfixes

Controller support was added.

The F6 camera mode has been improved with two new modes added (entity lock-on, and player follow)

Multiplayer is (somewhat) fixed! At least I was able to join and shoot a few scene for the trailer.
You still spawn in the middle of nowhere and need to find your friend though.

[New build - DEFAULT] 26w9a: Stargates

[p]This builds introduces Stargates and many survival improvements.[/p][p][/p][p]Stargates:[/p]
  • [p]They will link two system far appart. [/p]
  • [p]You don't need any fuel to get through them[/p]
  • [p]I went a bit overboard with the shader effect, but it is rendered at halfscale so it should not make performance tank too much.[/p]
  • [p]you can check the route on the holomap[/p]
  • [p]Blueprint by JBaguio and Servo.[/p]

  • [p]the Survival Progression tab has been updated with more steps[/p]
  • [p]more help sections have been added[/p]

  • [p]The antenna will produce a vertical pulse upward so you can see clearly where is your base should you want to come back[/p]
  • [p]the scanner effect has been made more legible[/p]
  • [p]scanner effect will also show base, spaceship, hovercraft and crystals[/p]
  • [p]a few crystals are introduced: pyron shards for weapons, aegis for shields, sunstones for Lightcruise[/p]
  • [p]a few multitool addons to mine faster various resources[/p]
  • [p]many issues were fixed relative to mining, crafting.[/p]
  • [p]brick descriptions fixed[/p]
  • [p]achievement are now translated[/p]
  • [p]a new "Gatekeeper" will wait for the player at the Stargate as he will needs to use the Stargate to get to a new system (no void pearl in the starting system)[/p]

[New build - EXPERIMENTAL] 26w02a: Alien Update: new species, new flora

[p]This build tidy up a lot of small things preparing for the survival release. It also have a bunch of alien related additions:[/p][p][/p][p]Characters: A few aliens have been added:[/p]
  • [p]A female Felnhir (the feline alien). with eye and fur color options.[/p]
  • [p]A mushroom looking alien, with hair options.[/p]
  • [p]A mantis inspired alien, with skin and eye color options.[/p]
  • [p]The feline male race can also have custom eyes and skin color.[/p]
  • [p]The appearance of the character has also been improved (specular highlight), [/p]
  • [p]The character customization rendering is also improved.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]Crafting:[/p]
  • [p]a few crystals have been added: Quartz and Pyron shards[/p]
  • [p]Quartz can be used to craft silicon ingots[/p]
  • [p]Pyron shards can be used to craft a beam aperture core, itself used to craft weapons.[/p]

[New build - DEFAULT] 25w47a: Locomotion and UI Polish

A new environment widget has been added:
  • - shows g meter
  • - shows environment type: space, inside spaceship, on planet
  • - shows O2 status
  • Pressurization will now check if the player is inside an entity.
  • Artifical gravity checks if there is a floor below!


This build also streamlines a few points related to player locomotion:
  • - Hoverboard various fixes (vertical movement)
  • - Player will naturaly unstuck itself from ground
  • - Jump animation no longer player for small steps
  • - New jumpack addon: the base 6dof will no longer have jumpack feature
  • - no more boost as we have scooter / hoverboard to travel fast
  • - jetpack icon moved with other player action icons


It contains a few sfx improvements too:
  • - rumble inside travelling spaceship or space stations.
  • - sfx during warp
  • - sfx when mining scraps
  • - new sfx for missions
