The first expansion to Scythe: Digital Edition is now available with a 10% discount for the first 7 days!

• 2 new factions: Clan Albion and the Togawa Shogunate, with their own starting positions, abilities and units available in two cosmetic variants

• Support for local and multiplayer games with up to 7 players (instead of 5)
  
• Official rules changes for some Crimean and Polanian abilities in 6-7 players games [see the official expansion rules page 3]
  
• A new background for the main menu featuring the Togawa Shogunate
  

If you don’t own the expansion you can’t play as Albion and/or Togawa, but you can play against them in online games created by owners of the expansion. This way, the community will not be split between owners and non-owners of the expansion.


Yes: when you create a new game, whether local or online, you can choose to play with or without the expansion.


This update adds several bugfixes, 25 new achievements and redesigned screens for the game creation menu and the online lobby featuring extra artworks by Jakub Rozalski.
