Pteranodon Overhaul

Please Note: We are currently in the process of doing a complete overhaul of our dinosaur textures, some skin and eye texture problems will be present while we continue to finalise these changes.

You may need to delete your save folder to enable the new "Look Up" Keybind feature.
If your movement keys are not working properly: open your keybinds menu and press reset to fix.

NEW CONTENT
-The Pteranodon has been entirely reworked and redone
+Implemented our new Pteranodon model and accompanying animations and sounds
-The Pteranodon can now properly swim after diving into the water, and can takeoff from the water's surface, rather than just "flying" through the water
-The Pteranodon's braking mechanic has been redesigned entirely. You still brake by holding the use key but its functionality will feel very different
-The Pteranodon has been entirely recoded, which should result in flight, landing, and takeoff being substantially less buggy
-The Pteranodon is now much more forgiving on crash landings
+Added a new keybind, Look Up, that allows the player to deliberately look upwards. This should aid in combating pteranodons.
-Make sure to delete your local Saved folder to make use of the new keybind or it will not work
+Added support for wing flap sound effects and added these for pteranodon
+The Pteranodon now plays landing sounds for water and terrestrial take-offs
+Added a new console command, "SpawnCarcass," that allows the user to spawn a carcass. A good default size value is 1000.
+The HUD now shows shelter by lighting up a ring around your HP globe.

GRAPHICS
+All creature textures have been overhauled with better maps and textures
+Work on Lightshafts and lighting corrections
+New: Extra layer of post processing for the feather tech on velociraptor. The feathers are now occluded to simulate their density and give more volume to the character.
+Made appropriate shaders for smaller items that don't require complex customization support for optimization
+Redid the UI on MainMenu, New visual take on the MainMenu UI Side bar, logo is smaller
+Updated the Ichthyovenator eyes to look prettier
+Adjusted lighting on Rival Shores, Ancestral Plains, and Caldera

+Reimported all the Krono and Orycto skin Diffuse Files so that they had a mouth texture.

+Made the larger volcano cave have an overhang shelter on Bloodbath

+Connected the flooding pit in the labyrinth cave to the ocean.
+Tried to optimize the arena.
+Polished up a lot of stuff, added mud in ocean caves, more terrain painting.

BALANCE CHANGES
+Juvenile apatos now generate smaller carcasses
+Experimental change: Added support for a new system that heavily discourages self feeding.
-Freshly spawned players drop significantly less food until they've eaten and drank sufficiently.
-Scent no longer shows up for animals that have not yet consumed 100 food or water
+Pteranodon damage now scales less intensely with growth (0.5% increase per percent growth, down from 1% increase per percent growth), beyond 1.0
+The Pteranodon Sharp Teeth talent has been replaced with Exhausting Bite
-This talent was stacking too intensely with Piercing Beak
+Pteranodon ground-based mobility has been greatly improved
+The Pteranodon mobility tree now contains two talents designed to greatly enhance grounded mobility, which have replaced tiers 4 and 5 on the talent tree
+The Pteranodon's grounded mobility has been substantially buffed in general
+Replaced the Pteranodon Stoic talent with Strong Lungs
+Significantly increased the amount of food fish grant
+It should now be much easier to hit fish as a pteranodon
+Adjusted health and damage scaling beyond growth 1.0 such that larger creatures aren't as strong as before
+The Scent keybind now activates fish for piscivores, rather than the call keybind
+Servers now default to sorting by player count, rather than latency
+The Pteranodon can use scent underwater to locate fish
+Adjusted the Pteranodon slowdown rate when it enters water from flight
+Modified camera behavior for smaller creatures
+After braking, the pteranodon no longer retains as much of its accumulated speed from diving
+Slowed Ptera flight speeds down
+The Botanist talent is now more effective at reducing food poisoning gained by eating aquatic plants as a terrestrial herbivore
+Improved the Ichthy's ease of catching fish
+Adjusted camera behavior for all entities for it to fit the creature better on the screen.
+Adjusted the talent coefficients for the Pteranodon's speed increase talent such that they aren't as extreme
+Adjusted the talent coefficients for the Pteranodon's Strong Legs talent such that they are not as effective at preventing damage from landing
+The Pteranodon talent Exhausting Bite has been replaced with Sneaky
+The Parasaurolophus talent Sturdy has been replaced with Clotting
+The Sneaky talent now also reduces attack-based sounds
+Carcasses, glowing herbivore plants, and water bodies can no longer be detected via scent from an infinite distance
-The default radius is now 350 meters.
-The talent Keen Olfactory now greatly improves the radius at which you can detect these around the map
-Extended carcass net culling distances to support levels 3, 4, and 5 smelling from further away
-The default scent radius, with 0 talents invested, is about half the current net culling distance
-Two talents invested will yield a scent radius similar to that of the current, live version
+The talent Keen Olfactory now allows herbivores to smell meat with 3+ talents invested
+Increased the modifier strengths for levels 3, 4, and 5 in Keen Olfactory
+Misc tooltip changes for some talents

+Fixed megalo's overbite on mesh

+Fixed: Breath bars now start for creatures who have been grabbed off land by a Mosasaurus
+Fixed: Mosasaurus now loses stamina if sprinting while grabbing another creature
+Sort of Fixed: Glitched plant bundles now destroy themselvees rather than allowing players to continuously eat indefinitely
+Reduced the speed at which players can pick up multiple plants.
-This will hopefully make jammed plant bundles less likely
+Fixed: Pteranodon no longer applies growth-based damage increases twice while in flight
+Fixed some minor layout things in the loading screen so stuff lined up better
