Update in Progress: Awards Come to Life
Hey everyone!
What a week, folks! It's been pretty intense with a nasty cold that slowed me down a bit, but I'm still on track with the schedule.
Anyway, let me jump right into what I've been working on this week!
This Week's Recap
There are a few fixes related to the Chinese language, and I want to give a shout-out to Jack Neksa for their contribution! The next version of City Game Studio will be even better thanks to this!

On another note, I've made solid progress on the Game of the Year feature. You can now browse through past Game of the Year winners. You'll be able to see their score, genre, theme, but also their size and the game engine they used. A whole bunch of information that'll interest the curious minds out there, and that'll also shed light on why these games won in the first place. If before you could only see which game won, now you'll know why it won. It's a highly-rated game, with a trending theme, and it's AAA for example. Those are the main criteria that help win a Game of the Year award.
Along with that, I've done a bit of a facelift on the panel that lets you create Game of the Year entries. The interface is much cleaner now, and matches the game creation interface. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I hope you'll love it!
What's Next
I still have quite a few things to iron out regarding Game of the Year, including adding decorative objects to place in your studio for each award. But also adding cheat codes and graphics options that would let you run City Game Studio at 120 FPS. I know some of you have been asking for this to get an even more immersive experience, so I'm going to try to add that to the game.
I haven't forgotten about studio directors either, they should soon be able to port games to other consoles! Yeah, that's going to level up your gaming experience too!
That's all for me, thanks for reading! More and more of you are tuning in each week!
Take care of yourselves
