Spring is almost here — and Summer Islands is getting warmer too.
We’ve been working on the next update for a while, and now it’s finally time. We’re happy to present v1.0.3, featuring:

Look forward to cherry blossoms in spring, maple leaves in autumn, and snowflakes in winter.

A true highlight: a unique Japanese building that tourists will absolutely love.

News is now more dynamic, clearer, and easier to read — so you can quickly see what matters without constantly clicking around.

📺 32:9 screen support
Ultrawide fans, rejoice: 32:9 support is here — for more overview and more island.

💸 Buy enemies
Yes, you read that right: you can now buy enemies — a new option to spice up your strategies.

🧾 Yearly report opens automatically at year’s end (toggleable)
The yearly report now opens automatically at the end of the year, so you won’t miss your progress.

🆕 Accessibility options
More accessibility for everyone: high contrast, bigger cursor, outlined text — so Summer Islands feels good for everyone.

⚙️ Performance improvements & engine update
We’ve done a lot under the hood: engine update, optimizations, and noticeable performance improvements.

🔠 Improved umlauts (ÄÜÖ)
Small but important: umlauts now look better and display more reliably.

⚡ Bugfixes, bugfixes, bugfixes
And of course: a whole bunch of fixes — many small annoying issues are gone.
(But don’t worry… we’ll keep sneaking in new ones so you have something to hunt for 🌞)
