Steam Playtest FAQ

Q. How long does the beta last?
A. We plan to be flexible based on the amount and nature of feedback that we get, expect at least a few weeks of ridin' and shootin', with the potential for a longer test period.

Q. How do I get a key?
A. Go to the Steam Store page of GRIT and click the “Request Access” button. That’s it! Hold tight until you are granted access. Players are accepted at random and Steam will notify you by email when you have been accepted.

A. First, join our Discord! Then, please report any bugs in: #report-a-bug and suggestions in: #feedback-suggestions

Q. Does the beta progress carry over into the final version of the game?
A. While we have yet to announce details, we are looking into tracking Beta XP for every player. In the future, we plan to allow players to turn in Beta XP for exclusive and rare in-game items. More details will be announced as soon as we have them.

Q. Is there a manual or tutorial?
A. Here are two resources that we think will be highly useful to start out in GRIT:

You can go to our Quick Start guide.
