Season 31 Wrapup

Season 31 is over, and this time the dust has barely settled across Albion. From costly wars to steady control, each server tells a different story. Let’s take a closer look at how the season unfolded.
Albion Europe
Season 31 on Albion Europe erupted into chaos following the war of Season 30. With multiple guilds declaring their intent to push for the win, a new anti-coalition forming, and Skoggangr preparing for their push, the stage was set for another all-out war. STORM entered aiming for a third consecutive victory, but with Take Care stepping away and Contingent downsizing, they were at their weakest point in several seasons, while the newly formed 93 Alliance gathered strength.
93 struck first during the 18:00 UTC prime time across Darkbough Snag, Thunderrock Ascent, and Draw. For the first few days, territories flipped back and forth, but 93 brought overwhelming numbers during the opening week. This early pressure forced brutal, extended fights and put STORM on the back foot. However, as the war developed, STORM began calling in support, and over time the numbers advantage shifted.
What started as a strength for 93 gradually faded as more guilds joined STORM’s side. During this shift, SIX joined under the STORM coalition, focusing on pulling 93 forces away from the core zones. This proved effective. EQMS and Polska Gildia were forced to respond to these counterattacks, leaving fewer players available to manage cluster queue pressure and isolate STORM forces waiting to enter the fights.
As the 18:00 UTC prime time slowly tipped in STORM’s favor over the following weeks, it became clear that 93 had to make a decision: fully commit elsewhere or continue losing ground. The choice was made to shift focus to the 20:00 UTC prime time and begin sieging Skoggangr’s home zones, including Razorrock Gulch, Ravine, Bank, Valley, Chasm, and Sunfang Cliffs. These zones saw some of the most intense fighting of the entire season, with daily battles stretching across weeks. After regrouping, 93 came out strong at 20:00 UTC, securing territories, opening Hideout attacks, and winning key engagements. For nearly a week, they looked unstoppable.

But STORM were not going down without a fight. After internal restructuring and coordination at the highest level, changes were made, particularly around cluster queue permissions. This allowed STORM to better spread their forces, control key objectives, and start winning fights again. The difference was immediate. The turning point came at Sunfang Cliffs. Skoggangr’s Level 3 Hideout was on its final shield and close to being destroyed. But after the adjustments within STORM, they managed to hold the final defense. That moment shifted momentum completely, pushing STORM into overdrive and marking the beginning of the decline for 93. Territories continued to change hands, but Skoggangr’s core zones held. Razorrock Gulch remained a key objective to defend, and STORM maintained control.
As the weeks went on, the 93 Alliance began to lose steam. Guilds dropped out or closed, numbers declined, and morale started to fall. And in a war like this, morale is often the deciding factor. As the season approached its end, 93 cancelled their 20:00 UTC masses and began looking for options elsewhere while regrouping for Season 32. By this point, Skoggangr were firmly in control and went on to secure their first season victory, with G2U in second place and Squirtle Squad holding third.

Even with the fighting slowing down, tensions remain. Internal instability has already appeared within Skoggangr. At the same time, Kingtrixel and Woof Woof have declared their intention to push for the win in Season 32. If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that they’ll be back swinging.
Across all sides, nearly 35,000 players died during this war. With an average ZvZ set valued at around 3 million Silver, that’s roughly 105 billion Silver lost in gear alone! And that doesn’t include battlemount losses, territory launch costs, or Hideout attacks. Taking everything into account, the total cost of the war is estimated at around 150 to 170 billion Silver.

Season 31 on Albion Europe was defined by shifting momentum, constant pressure, and a war that never truly slowed down. And while this chapter has closed, the next one is already beginning to take shape.
Albion Asia
Season 31 on Albion Asia was meant to be Maharlika’s moment to finally claim their first season victory. A guild that has been around since the early days of Albion Online, they came into the season determined to take the top spot after last season’s heartbreak, when their second-place finish was taken on the final Invasion Day. This time, it was supposed to be different.
And for the first few weeks, it looked exactly like that. Maharlika were out in front, building a strong lead and looking uncontested. Everything was going to plan. But that changed quickly once Summers, the Season 30 winners, decided to step in and make their move. At one point, the gap between the two sat at around 120,000 Season Points. But Summers pushed, and they pushed hard.
Day by day, the gap began to close, and then the raids started. Maharlika struggled to defend their territories as Summers began taking control, draining Raw Energy, killing Siphoned Mages, and applying constant pressure. With little to no retaliation on Summers’ own territories, the momentum shifted completely.
What had started as a comfortable lead for Maharlika turned into a rapid collapse. It became clear they wouldn’t be able to claw their way back. The players saw it, and leadership did as well. Maharlika regrouped under the WPZ Alliance tag, but their focus shifted away from the race for first place and back toward stabilizing and returning to their preferred style of gameplay.
From that point on, Summers never let up. They continued extending their lead, making sure there would be no last-minute upset this time, and secured their second season victory with a final total of 1,025,542 Season Points. Behind them, AFTERMATH stood out as one of the most consistent forces of the season. Operating without a larger alliance structure, they steadily secured second place through consistent performance across the entire season. MO GU followed closely behind, claiming third.

Even as the season concluded, new tensions were already forming. The return of The Flying Dutchman, along with a coalition between the DB, MMT, and CRIT alliances, signals that Summers’ control of the Outlands may face serious challenges in the next season.
Season 31 on Albion Asia started as Maharlika’s story, and while the ending slipped away, their early run showed exactly what they’re capable of at the highest level.
Albion Americas
Season 31 on Albion Americas followed a much calmer path compared to the chaos of Season 30. With Daliuess returning to lead IFures, they quickly established control of the Outlands and remained largely uncontested throughout the season.
IFures set themselves up to secure their fourth season victory, becoming only the second guild in Albion Online history to reach this milestone. While there were pockets of action in the inner ring, no serious challenge ever materialized to threaten their position at the top, and they maintained their lead comfortably from start to finish.
With first place effectively decided early on, attention shifted to the race for second. Unslave managed to hold onto that position despite pressure from Make Albion Great Again, who launched a series of raids and territory attacks in an attempt to close the gap. In the end, Unslave secured second place, while Furia Nocturnx claimed third, both operating under the IFures coalition banner.

Looking ahead, the question now is what comes next. IFures have secured their fourth victory, and with that, the conversation naturally turns to whether they can go even further. Could Season 32 see them push for a fifth and stand alone in Albion’s history? From what we’re hearing, it may not be as straightforward. Rumblings of new challenges and potential opposition are already circulating. Whether those turn into real threats remains to be seen, but if they do, Season 32 may look very different from the one we’ve just seen.
With Season 31 concluded, congratulations go to our champions: Skoggangr, Summers, and IFures!
Season 32 is already on the horizon, and with new conflicts forming and old grudges still unresolved, it won’t stay quiet for long. Check out the full Season 32 schedule, and don’t forget to tune in to AlbionTV for live coverage as the new season unfolds. See you on the battlefield!
