This Referral Season, Claim the Heretic Warsteed

The battlefield lies in ruins, broken armor scattered across the ground. But one warrior’s trash is another madman’s treasure. Clad in scavenged scraps and shaped by ill intent, the Heretic Warsteed was built to embody the terror left behind when the fighting ends. It may just be a pony, but size is clearly not the point. This month, inviting just one friend is all it takes to unlock this unsettling skin for your Armored Horse.

Keep inviting friends as the wreckage of battle piles up to claim even more rewards:
  • Refer 1 Friend: Heretic Warsteed mount skin
  • Refer 3 Friends: A T7 Pile of Tomes worth 100,000 Fame
  • Refer 5 Friends: A T8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame
  • Bonus for your first-ever referral: A T8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame
  • Additionally, for each friend you refer, you'll receive 500 Gold!

Getting your friends in on the action is as simple as following these steps:
  • Step 1: Share your referral link with a friend, which you can find here when logged into the website with your game account
  • Step 2: Your friend signs up to Albion Online
  • Step 3: Your friend purchases at least 30 days of Premium status from the Albion Online Web Shop or ingame store, unlocking your rewards
    • Note that this does not apply to Premium purchased with ingame currencies (Gold and Silver)
Invite a friend before the month ends, claim the Heretic Warsteed, and make sure the next battlefield leaves plenty of wreckage behind.

The Carnival Challenge has arrived in Albion, bringing noise, color, and just the right amount of chaos. And there’s no better symbol of that wild energy than the Terrorbird, a mount that fits right in with the frenzy. As the festivities unfold, this month’s Adventurer’s Challenge invites you to join the celebration, earn Challenge Points through your everyday exploits, and work toward the Terrorbird mount and other festive prizes.
Join the Carnival
SADDLED TERRORBIRD: This month's Challenge brings back the charming, lightning-fast Saddled Terrorbird, a speedy mount that will carry you quickly across the lands of Albion. With an above-average base move speed and an additional invincibility/speed burst spell, it's the perfect ride for those who need to cover some ground quickly and safely.

AVATAR RING: Along with the Saddled Terrorbird, you'll unlock the Carnival Challenge Avatar Ring when you reach this month's Challenge Point goal. Give your avatar a colorful, festive look all year round! This non-tradable item permanently unlocks this avatar border for one character, or can be traded for one Adventurer's Token at the Vanity Merchant.

SEASONAL SPECIALS: Unlock weekly Carnival Challenge chests to get valuable rewards like Adventurer's Tomes, resources, and silver bags, along with a chance at carnival-themed Wardrobe Skins. You can also get three furniture items: the Carnival Firework, Carnival Arch, and Carnival Costume Cart.
How to participate in the Adventurer's Challenge
The Adventurer's Challenge is a monthly event where you can earn exclusive rewards such as mounts, Tomes of Insight, bags of Silver, and more. By gathering, fishing, farming, and defeating monsters, you'll earn Challenge Points that fill daily, weekly, and monthly progress bars. To track your progress, open the Adventurer's Challenge UI by clicking on the Activities menu.

While only Premium players can unlock the Monthly Rewards (Avatar Ring, Mount) and Weekly Rewards (Challenge Chests), anyone can claim the Daily Rewards, which include 10 Learning Points and a Tier 4 Tome of Insight. Non-Premium players also make progress on all reward tracks, so when you’re ready to unlock Premium, your earned rewards will be waiting for you!

Get ready for the next chapter.

  • Albion Americas and Albion Europe: January 31, 11:00 UTC
For full season schedules, see this forum post.
Season Changes
This season brings changes to the way Stored Energy is paid out. Rather than happening in full on the final Invasion Day of the season, it is now also paid out on the mid-season Invasion Day. The first guild to conquer a territory after Invasion Day begins will be the recipients of this batch of Season Points.

In addition, changes have been made to Might requirements across a number of challenges: Hellgates, Corrupted Dungeons, the Depths, Hideout Power Cores, Smugglers, and Castles and Castle Outposts. The 2v2 and 5v5 Hellgate categories have also been merged into a single Hellgates challenge.
Watch the Season Start on AlbionTV
As always, you can catch all the action this Invasion Day live on twitch.com/albiononline. Tune in to watch guilds rushing into the Outlands and clashing over territories in huge, fierce battles. Broadcast times:
  • Albion Asia: January 31, 14:00 UTC
  • Albion Europe: January 31, 18:00 UTC
  • Albion Americas: February 1, 01:00 UTC

Behind the Banner: Lymhurst

Following our Fort Sterling edition of the Behind the Banner series, it’s time to descend from the mountains and enter Albion’s luscious forests. Within these realms we’ll encounter some of the Discord communities representing Lymhurst in Faction Warfare. So if you’re looking for a more organized way to participate, or if you just want to meet some fellow forest folk, read on and get to know them.

Discord: discord.gg/Y5Y9EqPBej

How long has your Discord been active?

We’ve been active for a little over one month. A split from our previous community, due to internal disputes, led us to start fresh with a new project.

What does your community have to offer?

We offer a transparent and friendly community where every member is valued. Our main focus is Faction Warfare, along with related content like static dungeons, ZvZ, ganking, and more. During these activities, we actively help our members to improve in their respective roles. We also aim to provide new players with a stable and active economy that allows them to progress within the game.

Why did you choose Lymhurst?

We established ourselves in Lymhurst because we believed there was a lack of organization within the Faction. That’s also what inspired our community’s name.

Do you offer Yellow or Red zone Faction Warfare content?

Our main focus is Red Zone content. However, we are also open to participating in Yellow Zone activities when appropriate.

Do you have a message for the other Factions out there?

I respect every Faction and its commitment to its flag. However, in the Red Zone, the clash of our weapons on the battlefield will speak louder than our voices and values. May the best side win.
Lymhurst NA (Albion Americas)
Discord: discord.gg/uE9ydjMt8

How long has your Discord been active?

The server has been active for almost 2 years now!

What does your community have to offer?

Our community offers a place for active and friendly Lymhurst players to find other like-minded players, whether it's to practice their ZvZ skills in a chill but educational environment in Faction Warfare, or to put together a group for dungeons, or even to form teams for more Black Zone-related content like the Roads of Avalon. We also sometimes host community Ava skips as well. Regardless of the content or the role, or who wishes to lead said content, we aim to facilitate the growth of active players in the Lymhurst community, to make Lymhurst a stronger Faction, and to have fun with friends along the way. We also do frequent community giveaways, usually when we get bigger masses together for Faction Warfare!

Why did you choose Lymhurst?

I actually chose Thetford when I first started playing Albion, but unfortunately back then Thetford had fewer numbers, and I also realized that green is my favorite color. So I decided to move to Lymhurst to seek more players, specifically those with more experience.

Do you offer Yellow or Red zone Faction Warfare content?

We offer an environment for both, though most of our current active players seem to prefer Yellow Zone content, so that is the majority of our current content.

Do you have a message for the other Factions out there?

Lets keep Faction Warfare active and a way to have fun with people around the world!
